TEMPLATE #23 : Four magazine covers templates

Hello everyone, finally, I’m back with a totally new template pack today ! I started to work on this one a long time ago now, and I finally have a little time to finish it, post it and share it ! Hope you will like these ones, I made them from personnal ideas and also inspiring by existing magazines. This time, I made HQ templates of a very large height (1080x1440px), of course you can resize them like you want. You use one of it ? 🌸Informations about the PSD files : • Dimensions : 1080x1440px ; • Dimensions of pictures : #1 & #2 (#1080x1440) , #3 (1080x1230), #4 (1000x1000) ; • Includes : What you see on the pictures above (not exemples), the template will show you the correct size of the pictures to put ; • Font used : Arial Black, Playfair Display, Aller, Acumin Variable Concept (you can change them ofc) ; • Preview without change : on the post, without dimensions ; • How to use : Just change the .psb files to add your own pictures (click here to know how to use and modify psb files), change the shapes colors by double-clicking or by add a color/gradient overlay ; • Tag me if you use and post it, I’d like to see what you do ^^ • { download }

hi dumb question but how do you put a frame around your font in gifs?

first of all: there are no dumb questions when it comes to editing, making gifs and photoshop in general. we’ve all started somewhere ✌🏻 so today i am going to show you how i achieved the above effect ( used in this and this gifset)

Here’s what you’ll need!● Photoshop (I’m using Photoshop CS6)● Basic knowledge on making gifs● Please like/reblog if this post helped you in any way!● If anything is unclear, don’t hesitate to ask● Click ‘read more’ to view this tutorial

Step 1:choose a scene you want to gif or a picture you want to edit. make your screencaps if you’re going for a gif (i recommend KM Player for this!) import them into photoshop, crop and sharpen your layers like you would normally do and apply a coloring of your liking. this should leave you with something that looks like this

Step 2:decide where your text is going to be and place those layers above the scene you’re gifing and it’s coloring. this leaves you with something like this 

Step 3:now we’re getting to the actual tutorial ✨ the first thing we want to do is to select the rectangle tool on the left, which looks like this

if you’re not seeing a rectangle, just right click on the symbol and choose the first option. now that we’ve selected this symbol we get a nice little options bar at the top. 

you’re free to experiment and go wild with these options, but the ones that i usually go for are these

now you’re free to just drag and drop your rectangle under your text layers, which should leave you with something that looks like this

Step 4:now we’re getting to the ‘see-through’ part and we’ll also add a nice border to our rectangle. so the next thing we want to do is to select our rectangle and start playing around with the opacity of the layer

i usually choose something near 40% of opacity, which looks like this

but now you can barely see our frame, so let’s get a border around that! to do this please select the add a layer style symbol, which is this little fx symbol at the bottom right and make sure your rectangle is still selected

and select ‘stroke’

again, you’re free to experiment with the options, but these are my settings

For this template, I used real instax polaroid sheets I scanned. I was really happy to receive my own instax camera this year so I would like to share a special template mixing scans and digital. TEMPLATE #22 : Four realistic Instagram iPhone app templates

So, I come back with a new realistic app template and this time it is Instagram ! I don’t use the app or the website for a long time but I know I lot of people are still addict of the social network. I don’t made one but four templates this time and I admit that I miss to make that kind of template. I had fun to make them because it was the occasion to make little edits with Melanie Martinez (preview #2 and #3). With these templates, first, you have an account preview where you can put a little preview of your account with your personnal pic, a little description and some pictures, for the second template it is like if you were at the home of the app and you focus on a specific pic with its description and everything, for the third one, it’s a instagram story template (you can make a animated version of this if you want, and changing the selectors on the top to make something more real) and finally a gallery of all 15 pics from an account. You can use these templates for different kind of use, like for rpg character or something else, like for my other iphone templates :) Hope this pack will be useful for you and then you like it :p (btw, the examples above are just examples I made and are not from real accounts)
