#respect animators

"How could the animators do a mid season finale for Invincible! They're so selfish and uncaring! If I was in charge, I would make them work until it was done! How will I know what happens next! I have to wait until 2024!"

I have a suggestion for people that are complaining about Invincible's Season 2 mid season break.

Like not only do you have a disrespect for animators when you're whining about that, but also the story's already done! Just read it if you can't be patient! But some people are too terrified to pick up a damn comic once in their lives!

had a very surprisingly pleasant conversation with someone on film twitter that reminded me of this and i instantly got mad

like the disrespect for animators is weighing heavily on my mind at 4am if you couldn’t tell

saw someone defending the live action saying “sometimes creators just want to be able to remake their show in a different medium” and yeah that’d be a great point!….

if the creators didn’t walk away and talk about how they were disrespected and mistreated in the same breath.

like can someone just PUH LEASE do something and save animation??? we can’t go on with Studio Ghibli carrying animated cinema on their backs. God, if you’re listening…. please send me something good this week.

OH MY GOD I FINALLY DID IT GOOD GOD!

This took me so long to do! My hand hurts! Finally, I animated the second Anime Intro for Spider-Man: Hero Academia 2!! I really hope you enjoy it because I have a new respect for animators!

Respect Animators

Respect their work and what they do. Don’t ever think that 3D animation is easy cause it’s not. Animations can take weeks to even months. Months if you’re new and learning new things.

I’ve recently started working with 3D animation myself for Minecraft videos. I have 3 projects in the works, none are even close to being finished. None of them are even up to the minute mark, each video is 3-4 minutes long. My recent project has taken 3 days to even get to the minute mark.

3D animation is not ‘easy’, please remember that. Everyone’s first few animations may not be the best but they will get better over time.

Now keep this in mind for hand drawn animations as well, those are even harder to make look smooth. Trust me I’ve worked with drawn animations as well.

Also, don’t take their hard work and claim it as yours either. If you want to repost it then ask permission! They might not say yes but if they say no then don’t repost it, if they say yes then credit them!

Please respect all animators.
