Wyatt Russell/John Walker appreciation post.

Wait don’t leave - hear me out first.

I don’t know how to word this right I’ve been writing and rewriting this post all day so here it goes. I just really want to say that Wyatt Russell is getting a lot of underserved hate right now; With all the death threats he’s getting on his social media, because of a character that he plays, is 100% underserved and is totally not okay.

Wyatt Russell has my full respect because if you can make people feel this deeply (even if it is negative) about a character with the low amount of screen time he has, then you must be doing something right.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely hate John Walker (but I’m trying, trying, to hold out hope that maybe he’ll have a character arc or something, cause he’s got potential) but Wyatt Russell has my full and utter respect for what he can do and portray through a character. I find that amazing and he’s incredibly talented to be able to pull something off like that.

The people who call themselves ‘fans’ that are giving him death threats, should be ashamed of themselves. That’s nothing like the marvel fandom and that is not how anyone should be treated regardless.

There’s so much more I could say about this but I’m gonna keep this short for now.

Hate the Character not the freaking actor who’s just doing their job
