Am I about to pick my nose? Find out now! Seriously tho, when did we all decide that hating on someone for a differing opinion was the way to go? #respectfullydisagree #itsallgood #respect #nosepicker #maybe #letsbeawesome #communicate #kindness #bekind #positivevibes #tattoo #ink #inked #tattoos #damnittho
Skater: You can tell he's wrong because I never get penalties NSO: To be fair I do actually have to think about what your number is Skater: Exactly. You don't know it off by heart ... Second half Skater: Ok. I definitely did that one
In response to rhc-lehigh's question in the post below, "is electronic/house/dubstep etc... real music?" I would respectfully like to address the following:
Your argument is driven by your evident lack personal satisfaction with this type "new age" "digital" "electronic" music. I'd like to make it clear that there is absolutely nothing wrong with different people having different taste in music. Just like people have different taste in everything else in this world... And that is the point. Different types of music do different things for different people. While you seem to think that house music is simply meant to be used in dancing scenarios, which I agree is a great time to use it... others may agree with you, but may go further in their appreciation for the music, using its energy and its fast paced rhythmicity to keep them on track while doing work. Just because this is not the case for the majority of people, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense for it to apply to a few.
In the end, music is an art form. Whether it be a symphony, or a mash-up: it is the process through which creative and intelligent minds coming together under the protection of laws, copyrights, contracts, licenses and agreement to expose their art to the world.
The beauty of art, and specifically music, is that it is not a media push, but consumer pull. In other words, it is your choice whether or not you want to involve yourself with the material.
So if you don't like it, don't listen to it... Additionally, if an incredibly talented pianist decides that his he wants to explore the digital realm of his art, he will switch from a piano to a keyboard, perhaps, because his creative intentions have lead him in a different direction.
Music is all about what works for you. So if it doesn't work for you, don't try to fix it... and if it does, then embrace it - because human individuality expressed through or by art is one of this world's great phenomena, and what being human is all about.
