Judges Halt Race and Gender Priority for Restaurant Relief Grants

Approvals for thousands of Restaurant Revitalization Fund applicants were rescinded after court orders struck down a policy that favored historically underserved groups.

Courts rule against restaurant fund's priority policy Federal courts in Texas and Tennessee have ruled against a policy under the federal government's Restaurant Revitalization Fund that created a 21-day exclusivity period for businesses owned by women, veterans and "socially and economically disadvantaged" individuals. As a result, the Small Business Administration has altered its approach to managing the program, and almost 3,000 business owners who were told they had been approved have had payments halted.

Restaurant Revitalization Fund(RFF)

The US Small Business Administration (SBA) provides fund though the Restaurant Revitalization Fund(RFF) to restaurants, bars, and other places of business that serve food or drink who suffered revenue losses related to the COVID-19. It is about $28.6 billion for SBA to award funds and SBA will prioritize awarding funds to the small business owners who women, veterans and socially economically disadvantaged individuals.

The funding amount would be the decreased revenue of 2020 from 2019 and subtract the PPP you already received. The fund has to be used with guideline, you need to report annually on your portal. You must use all the fund appropriately by Mar 11, 2023. Unused fund has to be returned.

Restaurant Revitalization Fund

레스토랑 재부양 기금 RRF (Restaurant Revitalization Fund)

미국 연방 중소기업청(SBA)에서 2020년 코로나로 피해가 가장 큰 레스토랑, 바 그리고 식사와 음료를 서빙하는 업종에게 수익 감소에 대한 기금을 줍니다. 이 프로그램으로 약 286억 달러 측정되었고, 비즈니스 주인이 여자, 재향군인 또는 사회 경재적 약자부터 먼저 줍니다.

금액은 2019년 비해 2020년 감소된 매출(세금보고)에서 이미 받은 PPP금액을 빼고 나머지 금액이라고 합니다. 금액은 꼭 해당 대상에만 써야하고 본인 인터냇 포탈을 통해 보고서를 재출해야 하며, 2023년 3월 11일까지 다 써야하며 다 쓰지못한 금액은 다시 환불해야 한다고 합니다.
