Doctors never try to resuscitate someone who's already gone.

Never try to push for something that's not there. You'll waste a lot of energy and lose so much spirit before you eventually realize that it's all, all futile.

Instead, take what you get and turn it into something desirable. And when that dies, falls apart beyond repair, move on to the next thing. Because there's something here for everyone, and you'd be a fool to miss out on it because you're preoccupied with something that's indefinitely over.
