Refresh: It's not just for your browser...
After hovering on the edge of a boo-tastic cold for the past week, I am finally starting to feel better. That refreshing sensation I felt engulfing my immune system prompted me to refresh other parts of my life as well. I revamped my Twitter, Tumblr (as I'm sure you can see) and my Instagram. But wait, I didn't stop there! Oh no, after that, I decided to refresh my resume...and send it out! Yes, after months running through the worst case scenarios in my head of what would happen if I just put myself out there, I've done it. I've taken the leap and followed up on a few leads that could potentially change my job title. It's a nervous yet exhilarating feeling. Applying for a new job is like starting a new flirtation with a guy. It's scary and exciting and stressful and thrilling all at the same time. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Every phone call, every new email makes your stomach leap a little. I'm loving the feeling. Regardless of the outcome, I'm excited to be back out there in the (job) dating world. Now that the resumes have been sent out, it's time to refresh my outside...FACIAL TIME!!!! Ahhh...
