❝  missing  kids...  ❞  she  says,  taking  a  deep  breath  as  she  folds  the  newspaper  and  sets  it  down  on  the  table  in  front  of  her.  bad  things  happening  to  kids  made  her  feel  things  she  didn't  want  to  feel.  pain.  loss.  remembrance  of  a  life  she  no  longer  had,  but  could  barely  put  thought  into.  ❝  kinda  thought  that  was  the  one  thing  even  this  town  wouldn't  dare  touch...  kids,  man.  fuck.  ❞ // event open !

 ❝  god,  what  is  with  everyone?  ❞  she  shakes  her  head,  looking  around  the  small  town  square,  watching  as  people  walk  aimlessly  with  no  purpose.  how  hilarious,  she  thought.  it  was  entertaining,  to  say  the  least,  and  angel  loved  free  entertainment. // open !

 ❝  i  can't  make  the  bad  dreams  stop.  ❞  she  whispers,  looking  straight  ahead  of  her.  the  lights  had  come,  stirring  up  feelings  inside  her  she's  never  felt  before,  but  at  the  same  time,  felt  like  she  had  felt  a  million  times  over.  ❝  are  you  having  them,  too?  something  feels...  wrong.  ❞ // open !

His fingers gripped a little too tightly around the missing poster, slightly crumbling the sides in the process, his hands beginning to shake and he reread the paper over and over again. This had to be a dream, right? There was no way the one person he had began to become close to in the town was actually missing, the one person he felt overly drawn towards as if they had somehow, somewhere, known each other before they had even met. His throat felt tight, eyes moist with the threat of tears. Why did it hurt THIS much? Why was his heart beginning to race with a sense of dread, an oddly familiar sense. Kevin didn’t even realize he had customers staring at him, he couldn’t be bothered to work at a time like this, and besides they should understand that he was hurting; couldn’t they see it? Couldn’t they SEE what was happening around them? Something was seriously wrong. His job didn’t matter to him right now, in fact if he lost it he wouldn’t be bothered. He had to find Alexander, he had to, he couldn’t let him go before even beginning to figure out what it was about him that so strongly drew him towards him.

The Deacon Falls Sheriff’s Department is sad to announce that our Falls resident Alexander Castillo is the newest in missing cases. If you have any information on his whereabouts or where he was last seen, please call immediately.

            RESURRECTION EVENT 002: IT (PART ONE)

First, you saw the lights. In fact, you looked straight at them. Your confidante next to you looked away, heart pounding in their ears. Next, came the daydreams -- day terrors. It’s like you knew something bad was going to happen, something bad was happening, right now, and there was nothing you could do to stop it. You had intrusive ideas pop into your head of your best friend dying. You don’t know why, and you don’t know what to do with it.

And now? The disappearance of your friends, your family, coworkers, or neighbors. This is typically nothing new to Deacon Falls. The thing is, they’re usually not missing for long -- the only stipulation is that they often come home in body bags. But the idiots for cops in this town have no idea where they’re all disappearing to. So, the civilians banded together, formed search parties and looked all night, but to no avail. 

You’re losing hope. This town isn’t that big, where could they have gone? 

Hello players, and welcome to our second event! The IT chapter!

This event will last from now, SEPTEMBER 25th - OCTOBER 9th, and it will have THREE parts. Reminder that all of our events last 2 weeks due to the relaxed activity levels. Longer time between activity checks equals longer time for events so everyone can participate and enjoy it.

       • If your character looked into the deadlights, they’re having bad feelings, strange dreams of their friends or family dying.        • It is up to you if your character has given up hope. Are they uninterested in it all?        • Did they lose someone?  How are they feeling? Did the deadlights effect them?

Please put all non-event related threads on pause to focus on the event, and tag all event starters with resurrectionevent002, as well as post them in the Discord for players who can’t get to computers.

Message the main or one of the admins on discord if you want your character to go MISSING or be KILLED. You can also plot kills with other players (no, you do not have to have approval). If your character is killed, they can come back to life in one of the ghost events.
