            RESURRECTION EVENT 002: IT (PART ONE)

First, you saw the lights. In fact, you looked straight at them. Your confidante next to you looked away, heart pounding in their ears. Next, came the daydreams -- day terrors. It’s like you knew something bad was going to happen, something bad was happening, right now, and there was nothing you could do to stop it. You had intrusive ideas pop into your head of your best friend dying. You don’t know why, and you don’t know what to do with it.

And now? The disappearance of your friends, your family, coworkers, or neighbors. This is typically nothing new to Deacon Falls. The thing is, they’re usually not missing for long -- the only stipulation is that they often come home in body bags. But the idiots for cops in this town have no idea where they’re all disappearing to. So, the civilians banded together, formed search parties and looked all night, but to no avail. 

You’re losing hope. This town isn’t that big, where could they have gone? 

Hello players, and welcome to our second event! The IT chapter!

This event will last from now, SEPTEMBER 25th - OCTOBER 9th, and it will have THREE parts. Reminder that all of our events last 2 weeks due to the relaxed activity levels. Longer time between activity checks equals longer time for events so everyone can participate and enjoy it.

       • If your character looked into the deadlights, they’re having bad feelings, strange dreams of their friends or family dying.        • It is up to you if your character has given up hope. Are they uninterested in it all?        • Did they lose someone?  How are they feeling? Did the deadlights effect them?

Please put all non-event related threads on pause to focus on the event, and tag all event starters with resurrectionevent002, as well as post them in the Discord for players who can’t get to computers.

Message the main or one of the admins on discord if you want your character to go MISSING or be KILLED. You can also plot kills with other players (no, you do not have to have approval). If your character is killed, they can come back to life in one of the ghost events.

RESURRECTION OF EVIL EVENT 001: FRIDAY THE 13TH

YOU’RE INVITED TO A SPECIAL RETREAT AT CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE

As the season comes to a close and kids and counselors leave for the summer to go back to school, the camp is quiet once again. But before Camp Crystal Lake officially closes its gates to summer festivities... we’d like to welcome all those 21 and up for a special adult retreat!

This package includes a full week in our luxury cabins, and a whole lot of fun you’ll never forget!

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Swimming

Rock climbing

Art and Alcohol

Drinking games

Speed dating

Hiking

Canoes and kayaks are available at the shore 

Scary stories around the bonfire (discord IC and OOC)

Game of Survival (If you chose to play, there will be tips and hints posted throughout the week)

Hello, players! We hope you’re ready for our first event at Camp Crystal Lake! Don’t be surprised when you get to your cabin and it’s... not as luxurious as advertised... and probably full of murder. We will have characters die in this event, and we will have some seriously injured. Those of you being killed off or hurt already know who you are, and if you’d like to have a character participate in this, just let us know! 

Remember to tag any NSFW content, including gore. 

Cabins have been assigned under the cut, if you haven’t been assigned one and would like to be, just let us know! Your character does not have to remain in their assigned cabin.

This event is not mandatory if you feel your character wouldn’t join, but please wait to post non-event starters until after, and put all non-event threads on hold. If your character is under 21, they’re not checking ID.

          RESURRECTION EVENT 002: IT (PART THREE)

You awake in a cold sweat. Your dreams -- they’re... they’re so realistic, too realistic, and getting increasingly frightening. As you sit up, you see it. It’s there, right in front of you. Your worst fear, playing out. Your physical fears are happening right in front of you, and everything you’ve been the most terrified of happening on an emotional level is ruining your life. A small part of you knows it’s not real (hopefully, maybe?), but you can’t stop it. What is even going on?

Hello, players! We love you all so much and we’re so happy you’ve been enjoying the IT event so much, despite how busy everyone’s been. 

For the final part of the event (which ends Sunday), your characters are hallucinating their worst fears. If this is something that can play out physically, it’s happening. If it’s not physical, such as a fear of failure, etc, for example: they’re hallucinating how they’ve failed and ruined everything. EVERY character is being effected by this. 

We highly encourage self paras, threads, and anything creative that will allow you to get to know your character for this!

Again, the event ends SUNDAY, but you can continue any event threads after -- and even start CLOSED ones if you were late to the party for one more week only.

resurrection event 003: NIGHT PARK, PART II

HALLOWEEN WAS HERE AND SO WERE DEAD BODIES.

After the death of Braden Baxter, the finding of a tortured body in The House of Wax, and a dead body hidden in The Haunted House, this week will be the last week that Night Park will be open to the public for the foreseeable future. The Night family has been contacted for a statement but have yet to respond to the allegations that the same curse that once plagued the park is again at work.

NOT SO AMUSING.

Once it’s closed for good, Night Park becomes a shell of what it was, sitting empty for the residents of Deacon Falls to sneak into on the outskirts of town. A dumping ground for bodies, a place for misdeeds to take place, you name it, the park is now open for dastardly business in the eerie town it never should have opened in.

We love that you guys have enjoyed Night Park as much as you did! We’re going to end the event on the 9th, and be event-free until the Christmas event. Once the event is over, we will have a new location, the Abandoned Night Park.

           RESURRECTION EVENT 002: IT (PART TWO)

On Monday, October 5th, search party volunteers found body parts outside of a drainage pipe near Falls Lake. The following information is graphic. The body parts found were all belonging to small children, mostly legs. They appeared to be ripped from the body with a lot of force, making them suspect animals. However, while most were mark free, one had teeth marks, and another was badly bruised. This leads police to suspect a human. They’re looking for a man strong enough to do this. 

The coroner’s office has confirmed that these body parts all belong to the missing children from September. 

Deacon Falls is grieving during this heinous time, and it’s important that we come together and comfort those in need. 

CURFEW ENACTED! 

Due to the missing people, and now the discovery of the body parts, the Deacon Falls’ Sheriff’s Department has enacted a curfew. All residents must be home and doors locked by 8PM every night. Being out will result in a citation and make you a suspect in the cases.

resurrection of evil’s mini event 001: CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE

WELCOME BACK, CAMPERS.

Camp Crystal Lake is once again open! For one weekend only, the Chambers-Bancroft family have decided to reopen the camp that sits on the water, in honor of Friday the 13th. Now, with a blanket of freshly fallen snow on the ground, things might be a little different this November.

Your activities will include:

skiing

sledding

snowboarding

ice skating (be careful toward the center of the lake!)

hot chocolate and warm pastries in the mess hall

snowshoes will be available for everyone if you’d like to hike

a... rather outdated spa

sleigh rides

...and murder?

This event will be held from Friday the 13th to Friday the 20th OOC time, but take place over the course of one weekend IC time. There will only be one part to this event, as it is a mini event. 

Please note: this is not an event where your characters powers get suddenly stronger.

resurrection of evil’s event 003: NIGHT PARK

PART I: WELCOME TO THE THEME PARK OF NIGHTMARES. The Night family, a once prominent name in deacon falls, are now struggling to get their new-but-old theme park reopened in time for the holiday season. Candy apples, candy corn, and candy-coated misery all encircle night park. A once prolific park, it now sits abandoned on the outskirts of town, awaiting opening night: Halloween. But, bad things keep happening at the site of the park.

A select few will be allowed inside the park before it’s official opening date, but be warned. Nothing in this park is as it seems. Every turn of a corner in the fun house offers new horrors, some more real than others. Think you can make it out with your life? Not everyone will be so lucky.

Hello players, and welcome to our third event! The Night Park chapter!

This event will last from now, OCTOBER 25th - NOVEMBER 9th. There will be two parts to this event. Reminder that all of our events last 2 weeks due to the relaxed activity levels. Longer time between activity checks equals longer time for events so everyone can participate and enjoy it.

All members of the RP are included in the “select few” who are able to access the park early, however, you can wait until the in-game Halloween night to attend.

Please feel free to sign your character up for the attractions they can host! You can also have them work at the night park, from working the rides to setting up booths.

PLEASE NOTE: All witch, vampire, werewolf, baseline supernatural creatures, and any Halloween-specific characters (such as Hocus Pocus, Halloween, and Trick ‘r Treat) have increased powers during this time! Vampires may be stronger, may even be craving and ingesting blood, things of that nature! Any questions, just ask!

There are tons of things for your characters to do and we hope this opens the doors for good plots!
