Report from the trenches
ok, halftime: so far we've been busy but not nightmarish. Customers have all been varying degrees of nice and cheerful, likely because they chose to spend their time looking at pretty Christmas stuff at a small local store instead of battling the angry hordes at a bigger national store. Gold star for the morning goes to the nice man who responded to my rote but pleasant "have a good one!" with "you have a better one!" as he left. Thank you, sir.
