Being a supervisor at work is horrifying…how am I the responsible trusted adult in the building…three years ago I was just a cashier debating if she wanted to go to grad school and now I’m in a leadership role. Why am I work mom!!!!??!!!! I need an adult but I’m the adult wtf man

According to the people that work under me at my job, the place was a "disaster" while I was on PTO and they are thankful I'm back...I mean, I guess this is proof I'm really doing a good job, and I can't say I'm not loved by the people I supervise. But Jesus, wtf are the other supervisors doing while I'm gone??

I'm the work mom and I'm so not okay...how am I the trusted adult in my department????

Looking for jobs online and I misread Retail Supervisor as Ritual Supervisor. I’m not qualified for either position, but what I thought I saw gave me a nice burst of happiness

When does being a Supervisor become not terrifying?

Because half of my staff hate me, I don’t know nearly as much about the store as some of the staff who I supervise, and I’ve done so many steps over the past two weekends that my feet might honestly just fall off on the shop floor.
