Retail Poisoning @ Cityleaks
"closed" store hack
Print vinyl stickers of a "closed" sign and place them on as many retail store doors as possible.

home store hack
The idea with this is that the person doing the hacking acts as a performance artist and goes into home stores like ikea, etc and “lives” in the space. For example if there is a retail room set up with a bed, desk, etc the hacker would get in the bed and sleep maybe or watch a movie, or sit at the desk and work with their coffee. Someone else would document this performance art via video to see how people reacted/how long they could keep this going.

graffiti doormat
Create a stencil that has the imagery of a doormat and spray paint it outside of stores. Instead of having the mat say "welcome" or "home sweet home" have it say something more bold about what the store actually expects from you with a message that says "SPEND" or "CONSUME."

wolf mannequin
Window display hacking is a direct way to contact the buyer. Here is one executed project I did using a stencil and spray paint.
