Availability
So due to some unfortunate circumstances our staff scheduling has been a goddamned mess. Now, management has been known to take a mile when given an inch.
I've worked outside of my availability and lost an entire month of weekends because of the staffing issues. There's been a lot of pushback from some senior (as in been with the company for awhile and know the scheduling agreement) staff who for whatever reason they may have refused to work any weekend day even though it was a part of hiring.
I put my foot down and said I was done working throughout the weekend when there are folks who don't work a single weekend shift at least once a month.
Apparantly all this fight has been getting on management's nerve and I. Do. Not. Care. They mumble to no one, "If they don't want to work then quit! We've got a stack of folks applying!!!" Cause training an entire new group AFTER interviewing IF people return their calls is totally feasible.
