Retromon: Virtual Pet Monster Application
There's a new virtual pet application that has hit both the iOS App Store and Android Google Play store, and no, its not from Bandai. RetroMon - Virtual Pet Monster is a new application by Jaime Alberto Lopez Buenrostro that is bringing Digimon to your smartphone! The application mimics the Digimon Digital Monster V-Pet you’ve come to know and love, and probably purchased again in the most recent relaunch.
The application allows you to raise, train, and take care of your monster. Your virtual pet monster will evolve through the different stages of the life cycle like your Digimon normally would. You can even battle your friends online using Wi-Fi or cellular data.
What's really special is that you can customize your monster’s house and even your Digimon shell with different colors, styles and environments. This is very similar to the Tamagotchi Original app that was shutdown a few years back.
