A good storyboarding teacher will teach you the art of retroboarding! It's when you take a look at a scene that you admire compositionally, and steal down a drawing of what's showing on the screen. it's called "retrboarding" because you're essentially revealing the film's storyboards by peeling away the production + post production elements.
I retroboarded a scene from this terrific action-comedy! Pirates of the Caribbean is very very very good. I will defend it to the death. I want to find more films that do comedy through action + situation as opposed to dialogue. If you know of any, please give me suggestions! :]
