Non-working retro oven where I’m staying in North Carolina into Spring with two other guys. It hasn’t been the easiest situation. Making plant-based food is my forte, fed these guys last night. Retro Color Palette II: Kitchens

Again, I needed colors that would match a 1950s kitchen. So, again, I made a palette. The first 4 are made from what they called ‘kitchen design ideas’, where makers of kitchen appliances, cabinets, paint, floors and even gadgets would advertise their wares. The last 3 are made from actual photos of real 1950s kitchens. Those are not ‘rockabilly’ kitchens. The 5th on is a real gem. It was discovered back in the early 2000s by a home owner, who was told that the house, while built, and furnished, had never been lived in - for whatever reason, that they would never know, because the original home owners had died, and their children just put the property up for sale. So new was this kitchen, that the appliances still had their original manuals, and sample products, in mint condition. Bonus points for the fact that these appliances still worked, even after having been unused, even once, since they were originally installed around 1955. So, if you need 1950s kitchen colors....here you go!
