Regardin RetroRoyalty itself:
>>: (I'll mention this in a later entry) Most of the characters don't really interact with Søund.WAV as they suspect he's just another NPC Caine tries to entertain them with. Most of them except Kinger and Pomni (yes, even Ragatha has her doubts). Mainly it's Kinger who spends the most time with him out of the cast. He's not put off by the robot's cold, quiet nature. Mainly cuz most of the time he's too out of it to really notice. But even when he's sane in the dark he still doesn't mind. He recognizes Søund.WAV as the one who actually listens to him.
>>: Ever since he noticed Kinger's indifference, he sort of started to stick by him. He's so used to followin orders and followin a leader that he just naturally started followin the king. You'd think it'd be Caine, but I explain why not later down the list. And he doesn't follow the others as he views them as unstable and irrational. Kinger has been there the longest and is still there despite it all. Søund.WAV sees the strength in that.
>>: The two usually spend adventures together with Kinger doin his usual shenanigans and Søund.WAV followin along tryna keep things runnin smoothly. It makes the adventures go by faster without interference.
>>: Unfortunately, Søund.WAV is too big to fit in Kinger's usual pillow fortresses. Big sad. (He's about the size of an abstracted) Though, if Kinger builds one like the one from the abstracted Queenie scene, they can hang out in there.
>>: That bein said, Kinger can fit in Søund.WAV's chest if he curls up. So hypothetically if he needed a dark place to think properly on the go with protection, that's the place to do it.
>>: As I mentioned before, he's about the size of an abstracted. So he can't fit through normal doors. More often than not, he curls into his alt form and has Kinger carry him around as Kinger is the only one he trusts to even touch him when he's that small and vulnerable. In his alt form he's the size of a normal cassette player like in canon, so he's easily carried.
>>: Like in the doodle, sometimes Søund.WAV shrinks into his alt mode and plays music for the others. Mainly Kinger as it's his way of showin affection and comfort.
>>: The two bond over losin people close to them. Kinger with Queenie and his family, and Søund.WAV with his cassettes. Given the circus wipes your memory, he doesn't actually remember who his cassettes were, but he feels that emptiness all the same. In those moments in the dark, they swear to try their best to make it out for those outside who are waitin for them. If they ever make it out that is...
Regardin Søund.WAV in TADC specifically:
>>: Søund.WAV doesn't really need to breathe since he knows you can't actually die in the circus, so he just holds his "breath" to start playin music whenever he wants. (Mainly does it to comfort other circus members which only works half the time and only works on certain characters.)
>>: Søund.WAV's specific torture in ep8 would be gettin forcefully stuck in his alt mode and played around with (havin his buttons mashed and broken, the cassette(s) in his chest gettin unwound and jammed, the glass of his chest gettin shattered, gettin crushed to pieces, etc), with no way to defend himself. It kinda plays into onea my own biggest fears of bein helpless and stuck. I know it doesn't sound like it would be all that scary, but I want you to visualize that one example I gave about the cassette(s) gettin forcefully unwound and jammed as his organs gettin pulled from his torso. That's the closest equivalent. Because of this, he doesn't fight back despite bein capable when Caine becomes that huge multi-arm form. He's a robot, yes, but he still has fears, and Caine became one of them.
>>: Because weapons aren't "family friendly" his shoulder cannon was removed the moment he entered the circus. But it was given back for the "they all get guns" episode. In which he got a lil too into it (given the whole fightin in a war for so long the instincts just kicked in.) One might think that'd be overpowered as a whole blast from a cannon is overkill, but I will say he gets overpowered by Jax and Pomni in the end. He still only has three lives just like the rest of them. I like to think Pomni distracted him while Jax popped off shots and ended it by shatterin Søund.WAV's visor. Sendin him to the loser corner where he sulks over bein killed by a rubberhose rabbit and a tiny jester.
>>: Søund.WAV's relationships with the other circus members ain't really the best as most other characters think his general silence, cooperation with the adventures, and his random disappearances and reappearances are suspicious (some think he's an NPC) so they don't really interact with him unless they have to for most of the series. Kinger is one of the only exceptions to this as he interacts with pretty much everyone regardless. Kinger's lack of distance from him leads Søund.WAV to grow closer to him.
>>: Søund.WAV's relationship with Caine is a bit strange as he's actually rather cooperative with the adventures like I mentioned before. Externally, it seems he at least tolerates them and Caine. But internally, he's cooperative because he wants to get them done with as fast as possible so everyone can enjoy their personal time back at the circus. Despite bein a robot, he's not a very big fan of Caine, even if the ringmaster is similar to a robot, bein an ai and all. After all, Caine is the reason they have to go on these adventures in the first place.
>>: Søund.WAV's mind readin abilities were nerfed by Caine, among other abilities such as havin his cassettes bein their own creatures (they're just normal cassettes), his soundblastin abilities, and anythin else that could be dangerous. Things would be far too easy if he could just read everyone's minds. He's a big robot, he's already got enough goin for him as is.
>>: From a general story standpoint, Søund.WAV's character would be implied or at least frequently commented on to be an NPC despite not actually bein one. He constantly "disappears" from situations when the others aren't lookin, but sometimes he can be seen in the background listenin in while in his alt mode. Hidden away in a corner or behind somethin. It's a habit he hasn't been able to kick. The others are wary of him but mainly focus on the plot. He's kinda only relevant for a joke or two and pretty relevant in the guns episode before things get serious in episode 8.
