Cat-Naps @rainreyth
If anyone can tell, I’m winning the revenge chain /j
Bang! Bang! Bang! Animatic Attack on @rainreyth !
More of Rett and Kira ( @rainreyth )
Does Rett give anything to Freddy like the other animatronics do? (Monty's claws, roxy's eyes, etc)
Does he have his own 'station' (for lack of a better word) or does he just sorta roam around?
What was the inspiration(s) behind his design? (It's so cute😭)
Does he speak or not so much? :D
I'm outta ideas but I wanna know everything, give the lore
THANK YOU!
rainreyth I owe you my life for letting me yap. please don’t be afraid to keep em coming
Does Rett give anything to Freddy when Gregory ruins the animatronics?
Yes! I’ve been playing with this idea back and forth. But as of now i’ve settled on the idea that it’s Rett’s NOSE that gets taken. Rett has a nose that is able to communicate and find items or animatronics (anything with a faz-chip, really). It’s at its simplest an electromagnetic communication device, but put in his nose so he can “sniff” a guests pass and then locate their item that has a faz-chip attached to its name. This means he can also get a sense of what animatronics are nearby if he’s using it, so Gregory would be able to sense if someone is coming near (sort of like how Roxy’s eyes sees presents, now Greg can see the Glamrocks and co).
Station or Roaming?
Rett tends to hover between the help desks at the start and end of a day, and patrols the rest of the time. He does tend to dawdle in the daycare. But he says it’s just because kids lose things more often in there or something. No other reason…
Inspiration behind his design?
Originally he was a border collie named Fetch! Someone kindly told me “hey you, there’s a fetch dog in one of the books” (coincidentally. I thought it was funny, but wanted something different). So, a retriever lost and found dog instead! I bounced the design back and forth for a while, but ultimately was inspired by things like my old pop-arty bead toys I used to have, plushies, and old character designs.
Is he a talker?
Not at first, no! But don’t think he can’t learn! His early days he was straight to the point. Often saying clipped sentences like, “Lost Roxy Plush #112ASB. Affirmative. Ready to Retrieve.” But! He’s adapted and learned to talk more as time has gone on. Now he’ll say full sentences like,
“Way to go, Pup!”
and
“Lost, huh? Well let’s go scout for your Ma!”
and
“C̷̱̊͐͆h̶̳̅̆ͅa̷̻̼͊̂̅͜s̶͈̮̈́͑͛ͅe̵̛̖͊̈ ̵̙̬̯̔͗̉t̸̫̹̽̃h̵̭͖̊̚ĕ̷̢̞̅ ̴̘͉͂͐ŕ̴̞͎̻ă̵̡̙̰̆b̶̜̋̎b̷͚͚̋̅̌i̴̯̇͌ẗ̵͉́̊̎ ̴̯̪̇̋̈́c̶̠͊ͅḩ̴͓̠̓͐a̸̭̭͗͒s̵͙̜̭͆̕͠ē̶̫͈̫͗́ ̶͍͉͊̚ț̴̈̈́h̵̙̙͂̈́̕e̸̟̽̽ ̸͙͖̺͛̂r̶͎̼̍͂͗a̶̫̲̓̌b̷̝͓͎̃ḇ̷̫͗͋i̸̘̲̹̅̆͛t̵͎̭̀̌ ̸̰̯̄̂͛c̷̖̰̖̊̽h̵̼͔̺͆à̵̖̯͇s̶̡̑̓̽e̵̒͜ ̶̠͍̈́̂ṫ̵̢h̶̝͕̎e̵̺͚̊̆ ̷̤̣̟͘r̴̞̱̂́̄ä̵̭̫͈́b̶̦̻̽b̷͎̚ȋ̶̳̙̣͊ẗ̷̢́-̸̨̤̠͝“̷͚̲͌̿͂
Good thing his AI is adaptive! Wonder who he learned it from? Such a good boy!
Feel free to send more in! He’s happy to take questions as well as I might have time to doodle tonight!
What’s the deal with the rabbit with Rett???
There’s one rabbit in particular that Rett’s lost and found program is mixing with the glitch
but it’s not to say that another rabbit isn’t mixed in there too…
