BLOOD MOON (23 Aug. - 1 Sept.)

After the updated, Blood Moon is finally upon us! This hell event (what the hell is a hell event?) follows the more common hell event format of using diamonds to pull for event tokens and, upon reaching certain milestones/nodes, receiving a suit. The suits names are, in the order as seen above, [Flickering Pistill], [Blood Lust], [Covenant Servant], [Wandering Wraith], and [Abyss Apparition].

Suit Drop Order: Although there is a chance that almost any suit could drop on almost any node, there is a most likely drop order. It is: [Wraith] / [Abyss] - [Pistill] - [Servant], and [Blood Lust]. Upon reaching the 4th node, you’ll receive the background [Pastoral Sigh]. Upon reaching the 5th node, you’ll receive the background [Blood Moon Rise].

Cost: This is one of the cheaper hell events. The cost, from node to node and assuming that you use all free tries that we get, is: 150 - 900 - 2700 - 4800 - 7650. (We are actually receiving a free event token in our mailbox; I don’t know if this was done in the Chinese server, where these costs come from, but if so the costs will be reduced by one pull.)

Return Cost: Like most hell events, when it returns the milestones/nodes will have increased and, as such, the event will be more expensive. The increased return costs will be: 390 - 1140 - 3090 - 5190 - 8040.

Something to note: We are getting the censored version of [Pistill]. The original suit had the fairy’s arm stretched up and held in place by chains which attached the cage in which she is trapped. She is covered blood and cuts and her dress is ripped. Here’s the original suit . The Chinese version was required to censor the suit and thus changed the suit to the above version. You will still receive the bloody cuts, the cage, and the broken wings as a completion prize. Just not the bloody pose or ripped dress. 

Why we are receiving the censored version when we could receive the uncensored version is a topic of great debate in the LN community. However, currently they’re all theories and they probably will remain theories as I doubt the devs will ever come out and specifically say why we’re receiving the censored version.

WELFARE EVENT: [SHADOW FIEND] (1-10 May)

A welfare event is an event that you should be able to complete without spending any diamonds. For this event, clear stages in {Journey} to collect event tokens and exchange them for [Shadow Fiend]. This is a pick and choose event! 

During the event, you will also have an NPC (Debbie) pop up and ask you for some event currency. If you give her some, you’ll receive gold, star coins, and/or diamonds. If you’re a newer player and thus don’t have the ability to store a lot of stamina (say, during the night) it is recommended that, if you want the suit, you finish it first before giving Debbie the currency. However, once you’ve finished the suit you can give Debbie everything else you have left and collect diamonds!

Cost Estimate: You should be able to complete this suit just using the natural regeneration that you receive throughout the day, as well as {Quest} completion and the reward the following day for completing Association levels. If you need some extra stamina, start opening Competition boxes. According to the ever amazing Iri (whose video I’ve linked above and you should check out for the suit breakdown) if you do all Princess levels it will cost around 3504 stamina; if you are doing all Maiden, it will be 2336. 

Return Cost: When this suit returns, it will only cost stamina and gold to complete.

IMPORTANT NOTE; PLEASE READ

In the past, LN had given us a small stamina event and then a huge stamina event immediately afterward. There is no guarantee that they will do this however I feel that I need to mention it. If you want to look at the future stamina events, Iri did a great video on them here. There is also a brand new stamina event on the Japanese server. Again, there is absolutely no guarantee that they will do this again but I feel I need to mention it, just in case.

MAGIC BOX - (28 March - 3 April)

Cost estimate: Assuming you 100% accuracy and thus the maximum number of event items you can get for each free attempt and each diamond paid attempt (which, let’s be honest, is highly unlikely because Pick One events are The Worst) it will cost 1360 diamonds to complete [Surprise].

Returning costs: Note that with the exception of the earrings and the necklace, every other item in this suit is cheaper diamond-wise to get when it returns rather than during the event. To see this in more detail check out the Squirtle Squad’s spreadsheet. If you want to put your own info in to calculate your personal cost, you’ll need to make your own copy of the spreadsheet.

PARROT PRINCESS (6-10 Jan.)

Pass the Maiden and Princess levels listed above to collect event clothing which you will then evolve. The evolved version is the pale suit, [Song of Dream Parrot], which you can then customize into the red suit, [Fire of Blood Parrot]. Note that both these suits give you diamonds as a completion prize, so if you only get enough items to complete [Song], it’s worth it to dye it to [Fire] to get the diamonds. You can always dye it back to [Song]. The [Ruby Cheek] tattoo, which is part of [Song], will have its recipe sent to your {Mailbox} so you can craft it; it is crafted from event clothing from Maiden levels.

Keep in mind that this is an event that will cost stamina as well as diamonds as you’ll need to reset Princess levels. How much resets will cost you will depend entirely on your VIP level. To craft just [Song] you’ll need around 1312 stamina and 450 diamonds (V0-7), 300 diamonds (V8-10), 150 diamonds (V11-12), or 0 diamonds (V13-15). To craft both [Song] and [Fire] you’ll need around 2004 stamina and 1050 diamonds (V0-7), 900 diamonds (V8-10), 750 diamonds (V11-12), or 600 diamonds (V13-15). When it returns Return costs are via the Chinese server and thus may change.

Please note, unless you’re incredibly lucky, it may be impossible for lower VIPs to get both suits, as they will not have enough Princess resets to get the mount of event clothing needed. You may be able to finish [Song] but probably not [Fire] as well. Their current estimate is that you’ll need to be a least V4 to get enough event clothing to complete both suits. (And, yes, I agree, this sucks for the people with low or no VIP levels.) The ever amazing people over at the LN subreddit have put together another spreadsheet where you can put in your info to get a personalized event cost estimate. There will also be info about the drop rates for both Princess and Maiden levels.

ALSO a very important note if you’re interested in Dream Weaver. The epic form of the yellow cage from [Song] will likely be needed for a future Dream Weaver. (I say likely as, since this info is from the Chinese server, it could change.) So if you’re interested in that item, try to get the epic version of the cage.

RETURNING SUITS & ITEMS FOR BUYING

[Tune at Dawn], [Cherry Youth], and [Red Fox of Love] have all returned to the {Store}. [Dawn] is a returning recharge which costs 797 diamonds and thousands of gold to purchase. Please note that [Dawn] is required to craft [Clair’s Wish], a recharge suit, whenever it returns. [Cherry] and [Fox] were both free suits and thus cost only gold to purchase. 

Also available is the item [Moon Night Lantern] which was originally part of a recharge pack. It costs 35 diamonds to purchase.

BELL TOWER (3-9 Feb.)

Pass stages and solve puzzles to collect Memory Gears which you can then exchange for pieces of [Bell Tower Phantom] and [Heart of Puppet]. That’s right, you heard correctly, an event where we can pick and choose which pieces of the suits we want! The event format is one of the more common ones, where there are five stages and you get three free attempts per stage every day. Any extra attempts will cost diamonds. The makeups pictured above are not a part of the suits.

It will cost 240 diamonds to complete [Heart of Puppet], 420 diamonds to complete [Bell Tower Phantom], and 1680 for both suits. When the suits return, [Puppet] will cost 1196 diamonds and [Phantom] will cost 1305. HALLOWEEN 2018: [Candy Adventure] (26 Oct. - 1 Nov.)

For this event, you’ll be given a theme and then two outfits. You must pick the outfit that fits the theme best; if you pick correctly you’ll get 5 event currencies and if you don’t, you’ll get 3. You will get 10 free tries a day. These event types are, in general, very obnoxious as the outfit that fits the theme best is often not obvious. I highly highly recommend using Nikki’s Info to help yourself get as many correct as possible as otherwise, in my personal experience, it will be an intensely frustrating event. 

This is an event where you get to pick and choose which items of the [Candy Adventure] you want. Please note that the decorative background items, the pumpkin and the ghost, are completion prizes and thus you must complete the whole suit to get them. Also, the makeup pictured above does not come with the suit. Assuming that you get every answer correct, completing the suit will cost 1220 diamonds.

When [Candy Adventure] returns, the items will either need to be crafted or bought. Assuming the price stays the same as the Chinese server and that you don’t have any of the items needed to craft it, it should cost 2,039 diamonds.
