The Man--Open RP

No one told her what she signed up for. All they had said (or all she heard) was "undiscovered", "ancient language", and "experiment". As a gung-ho researcher in Linguistics and Anthropology up for anything interesting she immediately wrote back to Admiral Marcus her acceptance. 

The project was a complete secret from anyone outside of it. She could not discuss anything about it with anyone! or else face a horrible, unspecified punishment. However, she was allowed to explore the building when she wasn't working. All rooms in the building were open to her. Except for Room 3. 

So obviously, she went to Room 3 first. It was an empty hospital room at first glance. Sarah walked around, wondering for what patient it could be for. 

Sarah found a man sleeping in a bed behind a curtain. He was...beautiful, and cold, and...peaceful. She liked him. 

The girl began visiting him regularly, secretly--bringing in her lunch, reading aloud to him, baring her inhibitions, her soul to the silent, unhearing sleeping man. There was no way he could tell anyone, and she did not believe he would ever wake up after this many weeks.

Adrianna didn’t really understand why studying in this particular fashion was required for history course, nor why a partner was required. But both were existing, as well as the rule that the professor had made early in the year about him taking liberties to assign partners. There hadn’t an assignment until now, so Adrianna had happily worked by herself. John Harrison. Adrianna frowned, looking down at the slip of paper in her hand, the one with the name of her partner, as well as the location of The Library and the set time. She hadn’t met him since before that morning, when the two of them had been introduced and paired up for this assignment and had agreed to meet up in the Library to begin said assignment.

Apparently studying and passing exams weren’t enough. A dually done essay and a presentation to go with it were required as well for when it came to learning about the origins of the school and its founder. Adrianna pulled her eyes up from the smaller piece of paper, scanning around the library for her partner. John wasn’t currently in her sight. Sighing, she was still on edge about this whole thing. She had always worked better when she was completing assignments by herself; partners had always gotten in the way before. She could only hope that it was different this time. Looking near the back of the building, where windows stretched from the floor to the ceiling of the first floor, she thought she could see John crouched down on a table, leaning over at something. Walking over, and finding her first assumptions correct, she plopped her books down, sliding into the seat shortly afterwards. She offered a greeting, her voice soft because of her surroundings and she wasn’t hoping to distract him from where his attention currently lay. “Hello..”
