First breakfast on the *breakfast bar* aka the old piano! The piano could nt be tuned anymore.. it lived many happy years in a pub - sing alongs - then it moved to my nieces house - and then to mine.... how bloody heavy are they?! She's been gutted out - ( she's still a heavy lady!) and given a new repurposed life.. so many pianos end up chopped up for fire wood - which is so sad - when they are a solid piece of furniture and history... when once having a piano in your home was the height of class. When I was little I wanted a baby grande piano .. ( I can't play anything but chops sticks - and badly) But I watched so many black and white films with my dad.. where they had huge houses - glamorous lives and a piano in the livingroom! Which someone always knew how to play and a good old sing song could be had ( I can't sing either! 😂😂) So my darling much loved piano is now a breakfast bar ( nearly ) living a new and useful life.. holding my junk!! 😂 #livealifelessordinary #fairyhillcrafts #repurposed #reusedandrecycled #preloved #diy #makedoandmend #usewhatyouhave #createalifestyle #createalifeyoulove #creativepreneur #creative #creativehappylife #creativeideas #projects

It's finished!! Hurrah - it's going up stairs in the morning - my back won't do any more today! 😍😍 not 100% sure about leaving the drop down cabinet door wood - I think I should have painted it.. but I ll think on it... loved the stencils and how they came out!! Watch this space for more !! 😂😍 One project finished .. millions more to go.
