Ok ok ok but what about reverse falls pinescone? Would Dipper and Wirt still be together? What would Wirt and Greg be like? Would Wirt even be with Dipper?

(I am going to answer this the same way I always start an AU convo with @that-one-girl-behind-you​)

Ok so rev!Falls where the twins are the Gleeful, and Pacifica and Gideon are the Pines and everything is upside down right??

So ok Wirt then would have to be the contrary so instead of an anxious mess he would be what over confident… wirt… wirt over confident…. I am sorry but this boy

I just… I don’t see it.

I mean he could also remain as he was at the beginning of OTGW, all broody and angsty and not a so good brother. Let’s go with that. Greg remains the same, he probably is just a tad bit annoying with how over the top cute he can get, you know.

But how to make pinescone fit into this?? because I cannot see rev!Dipper just falling for Wirt. 

Ok ok ok ok hear me out, Dipper making a bet with Mabel that he can make anyone fall in love with him (I love the classic fic romance plots sue me), and Mabel chooses Wirt who is the new kid in town.

And Dipper is like “You couldn’t had made it easier” because it is obvious to anyone looking that the teen is the kind of insecure mess that would fall for whoever shows him any sign of affection, right?

Wrong. (He understimated Wirt insecurities, he is so insecure he cannot even fantom anyone at all ever trying to flirt with him).

Dipper tries everything, flirting, presents, flowers, magic. And each time Wirt just makes a face and goes “Yeah… I… I am leaving now, come on Greg let’s go home”. Greg just pats Dipper on the back as confort.

And Dipper is furious, how dare this nerd refuse his advances! How dare him say no! Who does he think he is?! Oh this is on! He is so gonna win this loser’s heart one way or another!

Meanwhile Mabel is in the background, eating popcorn, and extremely amused by the turn of events.

Oh man, after that big breakup in this rev!pinescone au, I can only imagine Greg making Dipper's life an absolute living HELL.

Dipper goes back home already feeling awful for what he had to do and planning some way to win Wirt back when he opens the door and sitting there, in the living room, is a smiling Greg eating candies and looking for all intents and purposes as the most diabolical sight Dipper has ever seen (and he had seen real fucking demons).“Hi Dipper, had a good day? Did anything interesting?” He pops another sweet in his mouth.Dipper knows he is screwed.

I am confused as to the character personalities in this au and who they are. You should make a 25 paragraph post explaining it.

Ok so the rev!Pinescone was a thing born out of one afternoon, chats, asks, lack of sleep, and no self control. (You know, the usual).

You can check all posts on my tag HERE

But basically it goes like this. Rev!Dipper and Rev!Mabel are as how they have always been in this AU (If you don’t know about the Reverse Falls AU I suggest go and check out about it HERE)

So the whole premise of the AU started with the idea of Dipper betting to his sister that he could make anyone fall in love with him, and that she can chose whoever in town and Dipper will be able to do it. Mabel agrees and she selects the new kid in town Wirt. Dipper thinks it will be easy, please, the boy is the obvious case of a loser who would fall to the feet of whoever shows him even the smallest show of affection.

But oh surprise because when Dipper flirst with Wirt, expecting it to be over easy so he can rub it on his sister, Wirt just looks down at him, lips on a tight line, and not a single hint of emotion on his voice “No thanks” is all he says before turning, leaving an enraged Dipper behind.

How dare this nerd, this loser, this poor excuse of a human being tell No to Dipper Gleeful! Oh this is on! He will win him and then break his heart, no matter what it takes!

Mabel is just, in the background, eating popcorn and holding her phone to record everything.

So that’s the start of the AU, now the idea is the classic cliche teenage romance movie plot. Dipper continues trying to win Wirt, Wirt continues acting like he doesn’t care (but oh there’s so much more to that! again, check the tag), slowly they fall for each other, yada yada, Greg is an overprotective younger brother that believes nobody is worthy of Wirt, Pacifica and Gideon try to warn Wirt about the dangers of dating Dipper.

The AU is not that expanded right now, mostly because I have other AUs (you all should stop me from creating more tbh) that I am working on right now. But I like it enough that I might go back to it soon!! (there are a bunch of asks on my inbox about it that I havent got the time to answer ahahah aha, sorry guys)

Saw Ur latest post about rev!pines and pinecone. How about instead of Wirt always showing too much emotions(flustered,blushing etc), he DOESNT show any emotion at all. that he's just poker face 24/7 (but he is always internally panicking) And dipper at first was like trying all the wooing techniques and Wirt going "Ah. Thanks" and dipper goes like ??!!?? I CANT GET A READ ON HIM?!?! But Wirt is internally going omgomgomgsomeoneishewooingmeornot. Either that a nilhistic Wirt lol

OMG I love it!

Dipper presents him a flower bouquet, kissing his hand and grinning at him in what he knows is a not so innocent look, and Wirt just looks at him, pulls his hand away sideyeing the flowers “Ah, thanks…” and turns around not even picking up the bouquet from Dipper’s hands. Can you imagine tho???? Dipper is just, fumming. Meanwhile Wirt is having an internal fight because there’s no fucking way that guy was trying to woo him? right??? Of course not! Who would even try to woo him!

Aside from his poker face, the only faces he shows are like sideying Dipper or showing disgust or something like that, but inside he is just panicking because “How does one goes around talking to people??!!?!? help!!”

In the show we see that for all that Wirt is the top angsty teenager he seems to have “friends”, or at least people like him, but in rev! world he doesn’t, because he has no idea how to act around people, plus the whole being pokerfaced 24/7 doesn’t really help at all.

Ok yo but important question, how would rev!Dipper react to meeting normal Wirt??

“Why does my Wirt doesn’t dress like you??!!!”

Basically whine over the fact his Wirt is a lazy bum and doesn’t really do the dressing up nice, which totally clashes with Dipper’s style!

This is probably going to be a crack question, but do you have anymore headcanons for reverse Pinescone?

I do actually!!-Once they start dating Dipper buys Wirt a whole new wardrobe and somehow even while owning nothing but the best of the best the boy continues to be a fashion disaster “You cannot wear crocs with a three piece suit!! No it doesn’t matter that they are black!!”-Mabel has recorded every failed attempt of Dipper trying to woo Wirt “the fashion disaster”, she makes a video with the most embarrassing ones that she plays just to mess up with Dipper-Pacifica and Gideon try to warn Wirt that Dipper is evil and he should be more careful, Wirt just takes one look at Dipper, then one look at lil innocent sweet Greg and then back at Paz and Gideon “You guys don’t know true evil, but thanks for the warning”

Rev Wirt being the one to initiate the couple nicknames like babe, hun, etc. first tho!!!

And still delivering them in the most monotone and dry voice ever. And using them every single time he talks to Dipper because “That’s what couples do… right??”
