hi y'all. i know that everyone's having a really hard time, but my friend could use your help! rev @steppingdiscs and her girlfriend recently escaped a very toxic situation and are dealing with housing instability right now as a result. the place they are currently staying at is inaccessible for rev's mobility needs and often has very unsanitary conditions that can pose a huge threat towards someone who is immunocompromised.

rev has been cr*wdf*nding for a long while with not much success and i think that she and lydia deserve better than what they have to deal with right now. we would all greatly appreciate the help 🫶🏽

7. What memories would your muse be shown if they were in the presence of a Dementor, and what physical reaction would they have? 

There are a number of memories that come to light when Ron experiences a Dementor, although the frequency lessened after his resignation from the Aurors.

Prior to the death of Harry, the most visceral memory Ron relives when encountering the Dementors is that of leaving Harry and Hermione behind during what he has dubbed “the camping trip from hell”. Most particularly, it’s the sound of Hermione’s ragged and broken voice yelling his name as he disapparated, enhanced by Harry’s utter silence. Having left his two best friends behind is one of Ron’s biggest regrets, and it’s one he is reminded of regularly. In a similar vein, he often hears the sound of the locket Horcrux rehashing his teenage insecurities over and over again: “I have seen your heart, and it is mine.”

Physically, Ron is often left pale and shaking, his knees usually buckled toward the floor as if they could no longer hold him up. While being an Auror ensured that he was often quick to draw his wand and a subsequent Patronus, Ron would often find himself overwhelmed by memories instead. It soon became clear to his then-girlfriend when he had encountered a Dementor, as Ron would come home and immediately envelope her into an embrace. While he wouldn’t speak or explain what had happened, he would use this moment as a silent acknowledgement that Hermione was here, she had forgiven him, and that his crushing insecurities were unfounded, no matter how much they plagued him.

After the death of Harry, however, Ron hears what he imagines to be his best friends final shouts, despite not having been present for the act.

I'm totally with Tiender on this one; Etain is all over the map based on place in time espc. between flannel and hawaiian shirt, though I'd say it also depends on who she's with and that Hawaiian shirt was not a thing before Doruuma. If she's not at the center though I'd say ever so very very slightly prep flannel

What they smell like:

lit matches, probably peppermint too

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

he sleeps pretty sprawled out. he definitely has a hard time staying asleep but he naps a lot too

What music they enjoy:

johnny cash, the highwaymen, pretty much any country folk music. also talking heads and devo, new wave post punk pop kind of stuff.

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

probably like an hour but 50 of those minutes is him trying to roll out of bed

football i guess? but i think he just likes the stadium food and feeling like he is apart of something……….

definitely food. but going to museums and checking out cathedrals are up there too.

Favorite kind of weather:

rainy and cold!

A weird/obscure fear they have:

he fears nothing. he is ready to face god and walk backwards into hell.
