by the time she finds the room of hands, her inhibitions have been entirely swept away by an enchanting breeze, and all that remained was glitter. she can hear harley’s voice, somewhere in the memory of earlier in the night, but can’t remember what he’d said, nor does it matter when such treasures await her as something that’ll deliciously satisfy the burning curiosity that’s danced around her all night. the masks, the people had been what she was really excited for, but a room full of illusion was just as mystifying, and she knows she won’t be satisfied until she’s tried everything.
her eyes travel the expanse of the room, each hand taunting her, each key with something unique attached. allie, of course, picks the prettiest one, the metal bent prettily, delicately in the shape of a curly heart. she asks nicely, says please, and the hand lets it go. as a thank you, while she knows it’s the masks meant for kissing, she presses her lips to its palm, quick before she flutters away again in search of the room.
A DELICATE TOUCH ; A luxury choice, the room is a blissful haven with a stone built hot tub, a selection of vices to help the unlocker release their desires. Bubbles, a soak and the sweet sound of jazz echoes throughout this room.
the key in the lock, it turns, and it reveals to allie a warm sense of comfort that rolls through her. she steps inside, the door shutting behind her as curiosity leaves her to run her fingers over every little thing inside, the magic like a heartbeat throughout it all. in the middle of the room stands a hot tub, and while allie hadn’t necessarily been chasing a moment to breathe, to sit and soak, she is eager to be rid of these shoes. after those are off, the rest of her clothing follows as she decides walking around cold and wet after the warmth of the tub won’t be as lovely unless she’s really, really high, and she certainly could be, but … the only thing left on her is glitter as she gets in, without flinching, the fear of water fluttering far, far away as her toes touch the bottom.
she focuses on the sweet sound of the music, until something else interrupts it. the door’s opening, and she turns to look, unalarmed.
