in case anyone needs to hear this tonight, your physical or mental suffering is not because god is punishing you, it’s not because you are a bad person or have done bad things, it’s not a test. health is not tied to the divine, morals are not even tied to the divine. if you need further proof of this, look at all the truly evil people in this world who are healthy and doing wonderfully. look at the genuinely good people in life who are afflicted by poor health, children who get terminal diseases.

being taught otherwise is religious abuse and predation. what unhealthy people need are resources, medicine, care—not a sermon.
