Leopold did not, in fact, move along. He
sat as still as a cat-like statue might, tail
flicking back and forth as he kept his eyes
trained on the human. He was an odd little
thing – well, just about as odd any other
human wandering around, not that he saw
all that many. He stared at the human
unerringly and tilted his head as he studied
him.
“What?”
Caz frowned as he looked down at the tiny beast,
his brow furrowing together in thought. Did it WANT
something? Was it hungry? If it was, there was nothing
he could offer it. Perhaps it was lost, but, then again,
what could he do--and, better yet, what WOULD he
do--for a lost cat?
“I have nothing for you. No food, water, or whatever else you want.
Go bother someone else, cat.”
The cat reminded him of a stray that had once ran around the
Achromatic HQ many years ago--or, rather, forward. It was
nothing more than a kitten at the time, and had became a playmate
for Fray, who has still a very small child herself. Caz never
bothered with the cat, simply because it never interested him,
but Fray took to it and had given it the very creative name of
‘Achro’ because it was black and ‘void of color’.
