...I arrived in Connecticut today. All ive heard and seen had lead me here. God, I know she has to be here.

We havent spoken in months. I know she won't even want to see me, not after I...I dissapeared...

...im hearing things. Seeing things. I dont know if he's even real anymore. My... my therapist told me to start a journal. Maybe this what this is. I see other things popping up, entries I dont remember making...is it

She gave me this weird diary a while ago, I dont remember if it was some haunted artifact or not, its just the only thing I could find in the van...something to keep my thoughts somewhat organized off my meds... I should remember... Am I just really going insane? Im going to run out of paper at this rate. I cant organize a single thought, maybe im sleepwalking again...

Maybe this thing will give me answers No one's looking out for me up there.

I ...COULD NOT TELL YOU WHAT POSESSED ME TO MAKE THIS. I JUST REALLY WANTSD TO WRITE STUFF FOR THIS FUCKER. I hate.

basic summary: this au is Mystery skulls but in the faith universe basically. I sent those bastards to the 80s! In this universe, however, arthur remembers killing lewis. He...pretty much goes insane, and after being in a mental hospital similar to John post incident, lewis was labeled as missing due to his body strangely disappearing. There was no evidence that arthur was a murderer. But he knows. He saw the blood on his hands.

Anywho. Vivi, alone in her own struggle of remembering lewis and wanting to get to the bottom of his disappearance, goes off on her own to investigate the cult. After going mostly mia to most family in her one track mind, arthur then learns of her odd disappearance (after a year of self isolation and loathing) and goes after her. This takes place roughly 2 months before the canon events of faith, and i will cross those paths when i get there!! (I do have a decent plan for this au already i hust wanted to make this self indulgent little blog...my joy...)

sooyeah.thats basically it. I wanted to give arthur a weird journal people could speak to him in or just like. find him on the street .hes probably out doing things anyways so idrc HAHHA. Or give him voices go wiildsldd (reverb. hes stuck in arthurs mind due to an exorcism gone wrong, only half of arthurs arm gone. Feel free to ask that green bastard things as well!) Be as angst or as funny as you want bro im just here to play and draw

Since Mystery Skulls Animated 2022 is being delayed, I (finally) finished a character design prediction I started earlier this year!

For MSA fans who don't know, ??? (the green one who possessed Arthur) had a name and silhouette reveal earlier this year... he goes by Reverb! And this is my interpretation of his design ☆

I pay attention to and fixate on some of the smallest details, huh? You guys notice Mystery never did anything to really truly get rid of Reverb's possession? Just rip and tear-

So what if there was still a little bit of Reverb's influence left behind? Just really, super dormant? Except Arthur's constantly around a lot of supernatural energy... like constantly.... even without my self insert gal there, he's got Vivi with her latent spiritual stuff and Mystery with his very much present spiritual energy... Add on to that that in The Future you've got Lewis and Shiromori, then Reverb getting control of Mystery...

Also have I mentioned I like mentally torturing my favorite characters? Yeah, so basically, I'm finally splitting off an AU from canon for Mystery Skulls Animated with "what if right after The Future, Arthur learned he could turn into a demon form?" And I went off with it

Initially, he's green- poor bastard goes from "I think Lewis and I are kinda cool even though he tried to murder me?" and "Oh god, my arm is freaking out!" to "..... oh dear God I'm the reason Lewis is dead and it's happening again and I'M GREEN WHY AM I GREEN I'M BEING POSSESSED AGAIN AREN'T I-"

He'll get used to it, eventually. It is frustrating that to have two arms in this form he has to look more demon, but the mechanical one isn't spirit proofed enough to handle his energies in this form. But hey, he can scare the shit out of people with the new ghost arm! (And with practice, use it without going full demon form)

It'll help in the future that over time as he makes the powers his own (he'll develop smoke and electricity elements), his demon colors will fade from dark and mint green into his usual orange and yellow, it's just gonna take time and practice!

And, uh... motivation in the form of a pink and green haired half ghost~ Cerise'll help him get through this with a smile. And yes, he'll be able to turn the form off, just has to work with this new power.
