What's even scarier is that this brainwashed Chloe would probably comply gladly.

They say never meet your heroes or, in this case, your beloved idol. Marinette learned this the hard way.

She was beside herself when she learned that, despite the rumors of having (yet again) a new Supreme-sanctioned girlfriend, the self-proclaimed teen heartthrob Sunshine Boy Adrien was having an informal meet and greet at Le Grand Paris. Just two blocks away from her own home. There was no point asking for permission. Her parents would never allow it. But this chance was too good to let it lapse. 

It was dark and everyone was asleep. She grabbed a few magazines and one of the many pictures scattered all over her punk themed bedroom and, silently escaped her room by climbing down the side wall of her three storey home. She ran into the night and camped, hours before dawn, by the expected location, right near the entrance of the fanciest hotel in Paris. It was chilly and slightly humid as the sun climbed the sky but Marinette didn't pay any mind even as the noisy swarm of fans started gathering all around the area forcing her to push and fight to keep her privileged spot in the queue.

There he was, Adrien Agreste in the flesh, even more handsome than portrayed in the heavily retouched press photos or the official telescreen channels. Her heart skipped a beat and she charged forward to beg for an autograph.

And then she saw her.

His arm around her with such unbearable familiarity. Her golden messy hair precariously arranged in two braided ponytails. Unmistakably her. Blinding her with that sunny personality and that oh-so-hideous saccharine smile plastered on that ridiculously pretty doll-like face: Chloe. Chloe Bourgeois. The snobbiest prissy miss perfect, top-of-the-class loved-by-all daughter of the mayor of Paris. Chloe Bourgeois. Her bully. Her tormentor. The only person who single-handedly made her life a total misery every single day since kindergarten. Even today on this otherwise auspicious day.

She felt something snap and, for a moment, she couldn't move. As she missed her chance, she got shoved and pushed by the hoards of screeching fans hopelessly drawn to the golden pair like moths to a flame. A flame Marinette could no longer see with tears clouding her sight and threatening to ruin her heavy makeup and the magazines she clutched for dear life onto her chest.

Then another spark blew from her heart, and fire swallowed her whole, uncontrolled, until it scorched her feelings and escaped her lips in a shaken broken whisper: I hate you.

I hate you. She repeated and ran as fast as she could until she crashed back in her bed. She ignored the angry protests of her parents and, possessed by an irrational anger, she dragged all the posters, the pictures, the Supreme endorsed propaganda and threw them into the open fire of the large oven at the back of the bakery. She just stood there hypnotized, staring and staring as that pretty boy face writhed in the flames.

When everything was reduced to ashes, she pulled her phone and called that guy who'd been pestering her for the last few months, begging her for a date. And she agreed. Because she also wanted to shine. She wanted to be loved and held tightly, and worshipped even if for just a moment, even if that moment was going to be with that obnoxious, arrogant, stuck-up class president, Le Chien Kim.

But maybe just then she would finally stop feeling like such a loser for having that ridiculous crush for someone who didn't even know she existed.

And with those thoughts she promised to never succumb to the whims of her heart ever again.

But Marinette was right at least for one thing: Adrien Agreste had never even seen her before in his life. Not until a few weeks later when he decided to finally surprise his mother with her favorite artisan macarons and his feet dragged him to the door of the most popular bakery of the 21th arrondissement.

Anyway, I thought I'd share my take on the Reverse world and Emonette in terms of Chloenette: Essentially, my thought is that Reverse!Marinette is a gang leader who took over the streets due to her parents neglecting her, and came to enjoy the fear and pain she inflicts on others. Reverse!Chloe, on the other hand, is the spoiled sweet and beloved darling of Paris who believes the best in everyone. They end up a couple due to Reverse!Chloe seeing Emonette as a wounded soul who just needs help and understanding, and Emonette falling for her HARD due to Reverse!Chloe being the first time EVER that anyone has been shown her genuine kindness. Sure, there are a little hiccups like Emonette using her criminal connections to beat up anyone who stands in the way of Chloe's desire to make the city a better place and people start thinking Chloe is deliberately ordering the attacks, but who cares, they love each other!

"I'm only refraining to smash everyone's faces because of my girlfriend. If she and I were to break up, I'd suggest you dig your own grave before I do."

That's what the small piece of paper read. Every gang leader in the city of Paris shuddered as the familiar handwriting left a fear only one person can instill.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

If you've ever asked any members of the gangs occupying Paris, they'd beat you up before you can even finish. If you're unlucky. If you're lucky, they'd beat you up after you finish asking.

Of course, that was of the past. Nowadays, they've moved on to better ways. Such as beating up people but only after asking and considering the question. Old habits die hard.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng was not like most leaders and it's not just because she calls herself Shadybug. No, she was not like most leaders because unlike any gang leader you'd stumble upon because you're shit at directions, Marinette Dupain-Cheng had one thing they don't.

A girlfriend. That's right, suckers. A girlfriend.

And not just any girlfriend, she has THE girlfriend. The beloved darling of Paris and Mayor's daughter, face of every charity that's ever popped up in Paris and gives free pastries and helps people cross the street by sometimes carrying them bridal style if you asked.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng was dating Chloé Bourgeois and that was both surprising and horrifying.

Her gang members were widely amused and supportive, of course. Sometimes they can even be found helping in some charities and when asked, they shrug, point a thumb to a familiar looking blonde and say, "Just helping the boss's girl."

How the ended up dating? It depends on the news agency you follow, the story gets changed every few weeks. But the consistent part is because Chloé saved Marinette from something. Half of the population thinks it was from another gang, while the other thinks she saved her from the authorities.

They are all correct, but only half as well. Chloé actually saved Marinette from herself, both metamorphicaly and literally after she almost bled to death on a random alley.

From then on, the gang leader took it upon herself to watch over her savior, insisting it was to repay her and not because she was lesbian.

"Boss, you might be gay for her."

"You might just be fucking dead tomorrow too."

For everyone's sanity, they didn't oppose the couple. After all, why would they? Seriously, why would they.

Anyways, everything has been going fine. Until the small piece of paper came which made everyone, minus the ones non-gang, confused.

That is until they flipped the paper.

"I'm going to propose to my girlfriend this week and if any of you shitheads ever decide to have a fight, I will have you claw your way out of my hands until you are nothing but actual pieces of shit. Also, wish me luck or else."

Everyone was quiet, and for a moment Paris seemed to stop, then everything came undone.

"Holy shit."

"That's what we'll be if we don't follow her instructions, Dylan!"

So Alt (Reverse) Kim is afraid of water while Alt Zoe treats Alt Chloe like a servant?

I didn't think much about the minor characters in Miraculous yet but yeah I think that would be a good characterization for Reverse Kim.

Reverse Kim when he was a child like all children was a bit scared of the water because of the deep end and all, he was a bit scared something would jump out of the water like in those horror movies (don't ask what horror movies I've watched). However a person he trusts (maybe a parent or close friend or maybe even a kind life guard) gives him a lesson that its okay to be scared but not let that fear control you or you'll never be able to do anything you want. Reverse Kim in my AU wears glasses so when he goes swimming he usually wears contacts. For Reverse Kim i want to touch on themes of betrayal someone he trusted was the reason for his inane fear of the water. So taking inspiration on how Original Kim played a mean prank on marinette making her scared of relationships (which is a plotline I really don't love in that universe but whatevs) Reverse Kim gets a mean prank pulled on him maybe by Emonette herself. Now the prank ended up with him ending up on a diving board several feet above the swimming pool like in Derision and he's slowly backing away confused as to why the person he trusts is throwing harsh words at him his contacts had somehow fallen out so he can't see clearly and he slips fall into the water below right in the deep in.

In that moment all he felt was fear the slip was so unexpected like a rollercoaster ride and he was suddenly flung in the air but he didn't like the rollercoaster ride and he certainly didn't like the next 10 minutes. His senses were askew barely processing the situation and since he was a kid (maybe around 10) he had one thought on his mind. He was dying, he knew how to swim yes but this was the first time in the deep end and the situation was confusing as it is and just like that all his swimming skills vanished and he tried desperately flapping his arms in the water as he panicked which resulted in him using up his oxygen more quickly. He was able to get to the surface but at the cost of severe trauma a life guard came to check on him asking if he was alright but when Kim looked back into the water he'd just swum up from and enhanced his fear of the deep end and water in general. Ever since then he stayed away from the swimming pool and any forms of water.

I was definitely inspired by the Derision episode and always wondered how Marinette was scared more about the bugs then falling into the water unexpectedly off a diving board which was several feet in the air. I would've been scared out of my mind especially at a younger age.

Reverse Kim is not a happy go lucky fella like in the Original he is very much a loner but because of this tendency of being alone he doesn't become an utter jerk like in the original. he actually becomes really good friends with Robot Max feeling like he's the only one he can trust because he's a robot and a robot can't lie. And thats how Reverse Kim eventually joins Betterfly's organization and Gabriel Agreste gives him courage to fight back against the biggest threat their world's ever known.

The Supreme.

Reverse Zoe would treat Reverse Chloe badly definitely but I don't want to make Reverse Zoe an exact version of Original Chloe so I don't think she'd spend too much time bullying Nice chloe because Chloe is already hated by a lot of people in Paris because of her father's political plans actually being concise put some political parties don't like it due to admiring the Supreme instead and don't like how the Mayor is actively against the Supreme and tries going against his presence as much as he can. People also don't like Reverse Chloe because of her meek and Nice nature stepping all over her since being kind is seen as weak in this Universe and the Mayor's daughter can't afford to be weak. Chloe is used to evading Zoe she does it often and Zoe doesn't want to spend too much time on finding her because she has 'better things to do'.

Reverse Zoe instead of using physical power through her father's influence like Original Chloe does instead uses Emotional Manipulation a different kind of evil which is a much better weapon against Nice Chloe since she's so used to the Cruelty.

Reverse Zoe is an independent person she doesn't have a servant like Sabrina was in the original she has a sense of independence which ends up making her become rivals with Emonette.

My Reverse Au isn't just characters becoming a copy of another character in the original they become a copy of their core foundation which might have similarities with some of the characters in the Original but not the exact same since they still are a version of their original.

Since Zoe's core foundation was being nice as an opposite of chloe in the Reverse she won't be so nice but her independence will stay.
