clearing up some little things from my lore!!! it just bugs me that I dont share words here often im sorry q-q
Will and Wynn are the same person. Physically, She's not just his genderswap, I literally have a closely-branching timeline where Will transitions into a trans woman......,, this is v important to me that you know the distinction!!!!
R Mabel is schizophrenic. Just straight up. Medicated, briefly rehabilitated - her 'mood swings; are medically explained.
My R Ford is aroace..... but open to get freaky depending on context and whether or not the situation could give him power leverage.,,, in literal monetary/influence terms, not like that.....
R Fidds is obsessed w him. I don't *want* to say in a typically violent yandere way... but yeah pretty much
MORE R Fidds!!! He sleeps in the basement/lab. yuh. BY CHOICE!!!!. 4 stacked mattresses squeezed into a narrow, long cupboard. Sticky notes and papers stuck messily over the walls. Trash cluttering what little floor space he has, stacks of newspapers and science magazines and empty takeout trash. Will has offered to fix it up and clean it out. Mason has offered a guest room on many occasions. Feral raccoon man however is very territorial of his space and refuses to move anything. (Ironically cares very, very little for *other* people's personal space.)
I have not abandoned Waddles!!!! He still exists over here... just... elsewhere..... Mabel gave him to Grenda to look after during a panic attack one night, she freaked tf out and didn't feel safe enough to take care of him reliably :(.
Mason is actually an alcholic... I avoid drawing it because it's kinda a touchy subject for me... but yeah. His parents suck, he had no childhood, he's been made the face of a brand, he's 'not allowed' the only person he feels genuinely safe with, his twin sister is constantly one step away from s-cide, and not only is his uncle trying to set him up with rich girls he DOES NOT WANT, but he's also pressured to carry on the family lineage & business (which is,,,,, dark......)
Grenda is a lesbian!!!! Candy is pan and aggressively in denial, she 'claims' to be straight, *believes* she's aroace... oh babe.... (no they're not gonna date but like.... if you wanna.... go for that....
Stanford straight up just kills Will sometimes. Like in really, really intense, violent scenarios. The guy is immortal anyway so like, he 'remorphs' (forgot the word) or whatever within a few minutes AS LONG AS all his parts are within close range!! (actually explains the arm thing, and yes it was intentional. When he broke away from Bill, the stained power was practically rotting him. If he hadn't lost the limb, he wouldn't be here, he would... be in Tad's haands, along with his brother Kill.)
i know i just opened up SO many moreeee questions but i'll ramble more some other time :3c nobody gonna care about my rambles anyways
Since I mentioned my headcanons for some of the major characters in the past, I want to say what I imagine some of the minor characters to be like. I won’t list Stan, The Pines Twins and some of the other major characters in this. Because of spoilers to some of my fics, this will be undercut.
Fiddleford (60): He is a fairly wealthy, intelligent inventor, selling his patents to the government. Due to his inventions backfiring, the town doesn’t take him as seriously and see him as a bit of a loon. He lost himself to the memory gun, much like the show.
Triggers and Powers (30 and 39): Two no nonsense sheriffs, hardnosed about their jobs. Pacifica and Gideon swear they act like secret agents sometimes with their impala and treating everything like a government case. Pacifica also thinks Triggers looks like one of the guys from Unnatural. They are also dating.
Durland and Blubs (28 and 36): They are secret agents, working for the government. They have a silly side, but they do care about their job. They want to tie the knot soon.
Soos (24): He is the Pines bodyguard and limo driver. He views Stan as a father figure, much like the show. He will do anything for the twins, being very loyal to the family. His grandma lives in a house nearby the mansion. He has an awkward and childlike nature, having a huge heart. He becomes a blushing mess around Melody. He dates Melody after the summer is over.
Melody (24): She is a bit of a ditz, but is a good handywoman. She is very childlike and wishes some days she didn’t have as much responsibility. She has a big heart, acting like a big sister to Pacifica, Gideon, and Robbie.
Wendy (18): She works for the Pines family as a clerk for the Telepathy show and is the mortician’s daughter, helping out her dad with his work. Like her show counterpart, she has a close relationship with the twins and very tough when she needs to be. The stress she hides inside shows a lot more, worrying about the twins and her family situation. Dipper has a major crush on her for years.
Manly Dan (48): He’s the local mortician. He also enjoys hunting and being outdoors, which is how Wendy picked up her love of the outdoors and lumberjack skills. They might not be the best people to be burying the dead, but they do provide awesome catering at their events.
Thompson, Nate, Lee and Tambry (18): Don’t know what else to say here. They are like their show counterparts. The only real difference is that Tambry is a manager at the theater, and the three boys have a job at a shoe store in the local mall with Thompson being the manager.
Robbie (18): The lumberjack’s sons. He is very snarky and has laid back nature to him. He has a band and enjoys a lot of nerdy shows, especially anime. Like his canon counterpart, he has a rebellious nature, cares a lot about what others think and can be emotional at times. He gets embarrassed around his parents since they aren’t exactly the best lumberjacks around.
Sandra (30): She works for the Gravity Falls Gossiper, longing to get a big break and get on a big news show. She can come off as disinterested in her job.
Toby (35): He is an eccentric local news reporter. He mostly reports on sports, talking nonstop about Death Ball. He does report on other topics. He also has a major crush on Sandra, which she finds annoying.
Lazy Susan (70): She is the owner of the Club restaurant. She has a bad eye, which gets her into trouble at time. She cares about her job.
Candy (14): She is the daughter of a wealthy business woman and moved to the town when she was very small. She is very intelligent, being a top student in school and loving to invent many things. She became friends with Mabel at a young age. She also dated Dipper for a half a year before the relationship fizzled out and they broke it off.
Grenda (15): She is the daughter of a wealthy business man and befriended Mabel at a young age. She is very strong, which she uses to her advantage. She and Marvious date by the end of the summer.
Ariel (15): She is Pacifica’s friend over the course of the summer. She is a cheerleader in high school long side Sara. She is a huge wildchild. She is very reckless and doesn’t think through her actions, but she still is well meaning. She is perceptive of things and is supportive of her friends.
Sara (15): Like Ariel, she slowly befriends Pacifica. She is meek and naive about things. She is source of comfort to her friends and loved ones. She loves animals and is very talented on the computer.
I know this is completely random, but who do you see be tempted to use that Mind Altering Gun from the show in your rev!Falls?
Dipper.
My poor tragic boy. He’s seen/done/witnessed so much and yet I keep torturing him into more harmful and awful situations. Because apparently I love pain???
He’s stubborn and prideful but he would want to redeem himself somehow, and honestly maybe the world is better off it I don’t remember most of these things. To which Mabel promptly smacks some sense into him because Don’t you dare leave me alone. You and I are in this together. Besides, you can do it. We’ve been through worse.
Another one is that rev!Stan ships Dipper and Pacifica together. While he would be happy if Dippy went with Wendy, he sees that Paz is one of the few girls that can smack some sense into him and bring him back to his old self more. He ships them hard and even tells Paz to make the move on Dippy later on. (side note, I'm so adding moments like that to my fic).
“Just go for it.”
“No offense, Stan, but… why?”
“I need someone to smack him back to reality. That ego’s too big.”
“Gee. I wonder where he got that from.”
“Oh, I have no idea.”
Aeriously, I can’t stress enough how much I love Stan Pines is any way, shape or form. And he totally would. I love this one. I’m adopting it if you don’t mind :3
Since I’m kind of bored right now...because I never did a Random Headcanon Friday in ages, I’m gonna list off random headcanons I have for the major characters. I won’t do Robbie and some of Paz and Gideon’s allies in this one, I will do them in another post.
This will contain some spoilers, so if you don't like that sort thing don’t read this!
Pacifica
-- She was adopted by Gideon’s family when she was around 7 years old. She still has scars from her biological family literally and metaphorically.
-- She is determined to find out the secrets of the town, to the point of borderline obsession.
-- She loves anything paranormal since she was a small child. It’s mostly due to it being an escape for her, even through rough times.
-- She can be very awkward around people sometimes.
-- She is a fan of shows like Unnatural and other paranormal shows.
-- She hates Two Brothers and Some Kid with a passion.
-- Hides things from loved ones due to pride
-- She is impulsive, competitive and reckless. She can be very sassy and snarky sometimes.
-- She loves to run.
-- Despite her impulsive nature, she doesn’t trust people easily. If you cross her, it will be hard her to earn her forgiveness and she will make you pay.
-- She can think on her feet very well, but this comes after she gotten herself into trouble.
-- She sleeps with her cap on sometimes and Gideon teases her about it.
-- She hates Pitt soda since she was a kid due to the pit inside smacking her in the face.
--In addition to bells, her biological family and later on Bill Cipher, Pacifica has a fear of spiders and small spaces.
-- When she was a very small child, she thought eating Doritos and nachos will turn her invisible or hurt her somehow. Gideon sometimes teases her about it, much to her dismay.
--Pacifica has a multicoloured, oversized coat that used to belong to her mom. She only wears around the house when she’s lounging around. She calls it her “Techno Coloured Dream Coat”.
--One of her guilty pleasures is reading supernatural YA novels.
-- She does befriend Ariel and Tiffany (the reverse version of those girl who follow her in the canon).
Gideon
-- The journals completely terrified Gideon at first. Over time, however, he is more then willing to tag along on her adventures and helps her out a lot.
-- Gideon tends to think things through then Paz and is a voice of reason for her.
-- He is very good at interrupting the symbols in the journals. He’s better at math as well.
-- Gideon has a temper. While it’s way more controlled then in the canon due to going to anger management when he was young, it’s still something that pops out once in awhile. He also has a stubborn nature to him as well.
-- He is good at card games and other similar things.
-- He has a very good singing voice; however, he doesn’t like to sing that much due to thinking it sounds funny.
-- Gideon is very loyal to those he loves and is an optimistic.
-- He does hold himself back at times.
-- Much like his canon counter part, people sometimes under estimate him sometimes.
-- In addition to Robbie and Paz, over time, he befriends Marvius and Gabe. Gabe is not as creepy about his puppet obsession. Mavius, on the other hand, moved to America from Austria due to coming from a poor family and get a better life (Got this idea from @deadlyflames)
-- He sometimes gets crushes on numerous different girls.
-- His guilty pleasure is romantic comedies, but no one knows this besides Paz.
-- Secretly, Gideon does feel insecure about how strong he is much like canon Dippy, especially after not being able to break up with Mabel himself. Unlike Dippy, however, he feel insecure about his looks and feels he does not look attractive, but never mentions this to anyone, even Paz.
-- Over the course of the summer, he gets more fit due to running around the backwoods with Paz.
-- Gideon, despite being smaller then Paz, is much like guard dog around her. If you hurt her, you will pay.
-- He loves listening to country music, much to Paz’s annoyance.
The Pines Twins
-- They were taken in by Stanley when they were around 10 years old. Ironically he is a good influence on the twins and the only thing keeping them from flying off the deep end. Due to getting a sweet ass mansion out of the deal, Stanley doesn’t see it as a bad thing and loves those kids to death.
-- The twins love Summerween and Halloween; because of this, they love throwing a huge Halloween bash. Though, this is only time this sort of thing happens.
-- Like Pacifica in the canon, they are the rich mansion brats due to being related to the town founder.
---Dipper and Mabel are both trained boxers thanks to Stan. Dipper, however, doesn’t like it quite as much, mostly using his skills for self defense. Mabel enjoys it a lot more, boxing in her free time.
-- When Dipper or Mabel get extremely angry at someone, like a certain triangle demon, their eyes will change to neon blue (kind of like Yuya’s red eyes from Arc V…if you ever seen that anime) and sometimes blue flames will appear in their hands.
-- Dipper and Mabel are trained in Krav Maga as well. Like with boxing, Mabel loves do this in her spare time.
-- Both of the twins are a few years ahead in school; when they are 15 they both already have a freshmen university education.
-- Even in this universe, Dipper still has a fear of puppets and the same goes with Mabel and Claymation.
-- Even without the amulets, the twins do have powers of their own, the amulets only enhance them.
-- Aside of their “mindlink”, all of their powers come with a price. Their energy levels will sometimes drain and feel a tad exhausted if they do powerful spells for a period of time, kind of like if someone had to a do a ton of hard labour or did a hard workout. If they use to much of their powers at once, they can pass out. They never admit this to anyone, knowing full well others could use this to their advantage if they figured out.
-- Dipper knows how to speak English, Spanish, and French. He knows how to do spells in Latin. Mabel, on the other hand, knows how to speak Italian too.
-- Despite everything, the twins care tremendously about each other.
-- Like Pacifica and Gideon in the canon, they do have a change of heart. Mabel is the first to change and then Dipper.
Mabel
–Mabel is still very creative. In fact, she creates a lot of the costumes and items for the show.
--Mabel loves being the centre of attention. She loves hamming it up in front of the audience sometimes. She loves singing and design.
--Mabel’s major line in the sand is when people hurt or kill animals. Despite what people might think, she is still a vegetarian and would never do something like animal sacrifice.
-- Mabel is excellent at knife throwing, having excellent aim.
-- Mabel is the stronger out of the twins both with athletics and magic.
-- Mabel dates Gideon mostly because she loves the attention she gets from it more then actually having a crush on him.
--Mabel has more control of her magic then Dipper.
– She’s still friends with Grenda and Candy. Both come from wealthy families with Candy being more of a hacker and Grenda being more athletic.
--In addition to her selfish and brash nature from the canon, one of her major character flaws in this universe is her bratty nature. When she was little, her parents showered her with gifts instead of showing love. Because of this, she constantly craves attention from others and wants to be loved. When things don’t go her way, she freaks out since it brings her back to the days when her parents did that to her. However, over the course of time, she does learn to control this side of herself.
-- She, like her brother, can be cruel sometimes, but this does get better with time.
-- Like the canon, Mabel has a lot of crushes. Unlike the canon, a lot of guys fall down to their feet of her due to her being a celebrity. Because of this, she has dated many guys. With this said, most of these relationships were short lived. In fact, Gideon was the first boy to ever break up with her instead of the other way around.
-- Mabel once dated a hot vampire guy. However, he tried to turn her. At first, she was open to the idea since it’d make her more powerful and she can be with a hot guy forever. After thinking about it for a moment, she turned down the offer. The vampire tried to kill her, so she used her amulet to destroy him. When she got back to the mansion, Dipper wondered about what happened. She told him that the vampire was a creep, so she took care of him. Dipper teased her about becoming a badass vampire hunter before she punched him playfully in the shoulder.
--Mabel still has Waddles and cares a lot for that pig.
-- If you mess with her brother, she will make you pay.
-- Mabel is the more emotional of the twins. However, she is the first one to change.
-- She is the one who came up with idea for the magic show.
– For a period of time, when they just created the amulet’s, Mabel tried to incorporate Bear-O in the show. However, it didn’t turn out so well (I got the idea from idon’thavetimeforyourlogic).
Dipper
-- Due to years of exercise, he gains a little muscle with six-pack abs and a little muscle on his arms. He takes protein powder in order to look more muscular. He also sometimes uses his magic to make himself look more “handsome”.
-- Dipper is secretly terrified about what Bill might do for his “payment” for their gifts, but he never admits this to anyone. Mabel is as well, but to a lesser degree.
-- Like with Paz, he’s very possessive and obsessive of the journals and wants to find out the secrets of the town. Unlike Paz, he’s willing to do anything to do so, including very cruel things.
-- Dipper is very calm and doesn’t swear. If you mess with his sister or press his buttons, he will snap.
-- Dipper also has huge crush on Wendy. Unlike the show, she is a childhood friend since they knew each other since they were 8.
-- He’s very calculating; he gets frustrated when his plans don’t go his way.
-- Much to chagrin, thanks to years of using his legs and doing exercises like squats for the show, he gained very strong thigh and butt muscles much like a lot of hockey players. Sometimes Mabel and Stanley tease him about having a girly ass. On the bright side, people find it more attractive, so he doesn’t see as a completely bad thing.
-- However, this also earns him the nickname “Girly Ass” from Paz.
-- Paz also calls him “Captain Sparkle Cape” (got the idea from @proseandsongs)
-- When Dipper was younger, he still had to do the Lamby Dance. If anyone figures this out and tells a single soul, he would make them regret the day they were born.
--Despite his athletic nature, he still hates using gym equipment besides hand weights or mats, especially after an incident which involving him getting flung off of a treadmill when he cranked up too high (which his sister and great-uncle never let down). He rather run the old fashion way or do core work outs without exercise equipment. Though, Mabel loves teasing him about that incident.
-- Due to years of people stroking his ego, he has a huge ego that’s the same size of Kaiba’s. He is very full of himself and very image conscious.
-- Dipper, like Ford, has a fondness for wearing trench coats. Pacifica and the rest of his family teases him about it sometimes.
--Dipper sometimes sleeps with the journal, which Mabel teases him about a lot.
--Dipper’s naturally protective over women. Despite how things might seem at first, he would never abuse Pacifica when they date. If someone hurt Mabel, Pacifica or any other girl in any way, he’d make them pay big time.
-- Dipper is the first one to get a crush on Paz. Though, he isn’t beyond trying to steal her journal.
Both Bills
-- There are many Bill in different universes, so they made a council, mostly to mimic that dimension hopper and his grand son. They mostly just boast amongst each other and come up with plans on how to take over every dimension. (Got this idea from @deadlyflames, and I still find it brilliant).
-- Both of them sometimes turn human. Bill does it more because he can get more out of the Pines and Paz that way to manipulate them more, especially in an attractive form. They are both only able to do this in the Mindscape.
Bill Cipher
-- He’s well...like canon Bill, except more desperate and willing to be more underhanded.
-- Bill loves taunting the twins, telling them about their “canon” selves. It annoys the twins a lot.
-- He loves calling Paz “Llama” since it annoys her a lot.
-- Because of these deals, Dipper and his sister each have a triangle mark on their wrist that Bill gave them to remind them of their deal and that they’d have to pay the piper on a later date. They gain a second one once they make the deal during their version of Dreamscapers. They hide them with gloves and other items in attempt to stop Bill from seeing out of them. However, this does not always work. The twins, especially Dipper are secretly terrified about just what these prices will be. Paz gets a similar mark until she pays back the price shortly after.
-- When the twins summon him for the first time as small children, the twins make a deal with Bill to “have more nice parents”. Like what happened with Ryou in DM, Bill did something different instead and it had drastic results. Both of the twins regret doing this, but don’t at the same time due to how their folks treated them.
Will Cipher
-- Will could care less about the council. He never went to it, thinking they are being immoral and the council members are pissed at him for it.
-- Will sometimes appears in Paz and Gideon's dreams. He does it because its the only way for him to help them inside the Mindscape...and partly because he wants to mess with them a bit. This is in the same vain that Alex originally planned for him.
-- His memories are very sparse and blurry, over time he begins to remember what happened.
-- He is very unstable due to what happened to him in the past.
--He’s outgoing and still a little shit sometimes, but he does have good in him. He does crack jokes at the wrong times. He is the type of character that will defend others when it comes down to the wire and will jump into action. And when others bring it up to him, he will be like, “Hell ya I did, bitches! You should make me a statue made in my image or something. Hop to it.”
-- He sometimes references other universes.
Spoiler ones for Will are undercut
-- Ford summons him in order to learn the secrets of the universe. After being burnt by Ford, he confronted Ford about it and hid the journals in the woods. Ford gets sucked inside of the portal, sealing Will inside of the Mindscape along side him.
-- Fearing Ford and the Pines twins, he stays inside the Mindscape in order to think of a way out. This is partly why he tries to help out Paz and Gideon, so they would be able to nab the second journal and summon him out. However, he does genuinely care about Paz and Gideon, wanting to stop his other selves.
I think I plotted out Pacifica’s female friend’s personalities in reverse falls. I really had to do this since they will have a pretty big role in this as Reflections goes on. Here's what I came up with. I will be mentioning random headcanons I have for these two as well.
As a side note, the girl with the red hair is Ariel and the girl with dark hair is Tiffany.
Ariel and Tiffany
-- They are childhood friends, being very close.
-- They are in the same grade.
-- They both liked Several Times when they were around 12, but quickly outgrew it and regretted it a year later.
-- They both love shopping around town when they have the chance.
-- They are both on the cheer team together
Ariel
-- She loves fashion, especially helping people with hair and make-up.
-- Her dream job is to be a voice actress or in the fashion industry.
-- She is a very much of a “wild child”. She has gotten trouble for this, even to the point of having to being picked up by her parents from the holding cell at the mall. She doesn't do this to hurt anyone, she just doesn’t always think through her actions
-- One of her flaws is that she can get very aggressive, mostly when people mess with her friends.
-- She loves pranking people around town, despite the risk involved sometimes...even the Pines family.
-- Much like Wendy, she tries to protect an aura of being cool and collected. However, she can be stressed out, but hides it inside.
-- She is good at math, but sucks at things like drawing.
-- She once put a dead duck on Stanley’s car while it was parked in the Tent of Mystery parking lot. Stanley never figured out who did it. Dipper and Mabel knew it was her from their amulets, but they never really bothered doing anything about it since it was just a joke and she never meant any harm by it.
-- She has an older brother named Alan. He’s in his very early twenties, staying the summer in town before he goes back to college for an new media major. He has a very outgoing and funny personality. He can be the life of the party, getting himself into trouble. However, despite teasing his little sister about some things, he still cares about her.
-- She has a pet lizard.
-- She sometimes calls her brother “troll” or “gremlin” when she’s teasing him or when he’s acting stupid.
-- When she is confronted with the supernatural, she has a tendency to charge head first without thinking sometimes, much like Pacifica in this universe.
-- She hates country music.
-- She loves “club music”, but she enjoys other kinds of music too.
-- When someone insults her friends, she is the first person to jump to their defense.
-- If I had to pick a character theme for her, I would pick C’ mon by Kesha
Tiffany
-- Her dad owns the local night club and he sometimes acts as a bouncer there.
-- Her mom is a architect.
-- She is open to new experiences.
-- She is interested in the supernatural. While she is not as passionate about it as Paz, she doesn’t freak out about figuring out the bizarre supernatural bs around town is real as much as Ariel at first. She has seen a few bizarre things around town, after all.
-- She loves animals.
-- She is good with technology, especially with computers.
-- She has a couple of younger siblings.
-- She is very compassionate and tries to see the best in others.
-- She hates violence and likes to think of a diplomatic solution to things.
-- She can be a tad naïve sometimes, which does get her into trouble.
-- Sher can get nervous and overwhelmed at times, sometimes to the point of giving into others.
-- She is fairly quiet, but talks more around her friends.
-- She wants to do something in computer programing, new media or with animals; she never completely decided.
-- She, like Gideon in this universe, tries to calm her friends down and comfort them when they need it.
-- She is a pacifist
-- She has a pet dog.
-- Her character theme is It’s About a Girl by Sharda.
