Forgot to show u guys REVERSE STANLEY!!!
Gleeful Stan Twins - reverse falls
I am absolutely transfixed on you version of rev!falls. Genuinely you are probably the main person who refueled my love for this au.
Anyway!! I’d love to hear more about Stan and Will dynamic!! Is it more awkward with the two of them considering Wills dating Ford? Or is it a mutual kind of relationship because Will did help raise the twins.
I’d also really like to hear what Fords and Stan’s childhood was like!
Fiirst, i'm so glad! I love this Au so much and seeing so many people falling in love with my version makes me cry with happiness.
Let's go to the easy question, Ford and Stan's childhood is the same as in the original, the difference comes after Stanley doesn't break Ford's machine.
Stan and Will have a very indifferent relationship with each other, they cooperate together, hm, imagine Pearl and Greg's relationship on season 1, it's the best reference you'll have to them.
They tolerate each other to look after the children.
So stan knows about the deal with will and ford?
Kinda, Ford never said anything directly about Will, but Stanley realizes how Will and Ford act towards each other, he's not an idiot.
But directly, not the term DEAL, he doesn't know, he knows that Ford has a project, Will has something to do with it, and that he's going to “change the world” with it. He just wants to support his brother and earn his money
Hi its the anonymous coward again!! First off, I did read all that (you underestimate how much I love all of this), and your art is amazing he's like a doll lmao I love him.
So questions. What exactly are the terms for Will and Ford's contract and what do they do now? I'm insanely curious. Also, what is Stanley and the twin's relationship like? I'd love to know you're au is so beautiful I wish to inhale it
Hello again Anom! ☆*: .。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆ Your questions make me very happy (you underestimate how much I love this) so keep asking as much as you want!!!
First question, The Terms of Ford's Contract, he managed to convince Will to have one of the replacement Hechmaniacs, he used exact words so that he could involve Will in this deal as well. The deal was basically for Ford to have control of one of the henchmaniacs so that he can use them to help him (he didn't specify a portal).
In other words, Ford is the being who control Will's soul, he can force Will to do things and he can use this to hurt Will. (Very similar to Ford accepting his mind at Bill's mercy, funny hm?) Second question,
Stanley is still very fond of the Twins, especially as he was one of the people who brought them up when they were babies. He is a more present and friendly “father” who plays with them and is usually the one who is with the Twins when they do shows at the Tent, taking care of any injuries or problems that may occur.
Unlike Ford who was a less emotionally present father but provided everything they needed and brought them up most of their childhood with Will.
The funny thing is, Stanley isn't a fan of babies at all, he's even afraid of them and that he might hurt them, so he was only more present for the twins after they were about 5 years old. Ah! I loved answering these questions, NEXT! ✨
Good morning!! Anon coward here back with more ✨️ haha
You've mentioned Ford and Stanley being "fatherly" in their own ways, and before that Will takes a more "motherly" role. Basically the ask is details, and what are the twin's attitude towards all this? 👀
Hello again lovely Anom! 🌺 As a reward for being so kind and bringing such nice questions for me to answer, here's a bouquet of flowers!
This is a fun question, but first let's explain more about why Will is such a “motherly” figure:
I study psychology, and the concept of mother is much more complex for theorists than just “a woman who gives birth to a baby”. What makes me love the concept of the “breast” is how anyone can be a mother figure if given: Food, warmth and support, and that's what Will did, he looked after the Twins babies.
The fact that Will didn't exactly want to take care of the Twins in the beginning, being forced to because Ford didn't want to do manual labor, and Stanley was afraid of doing something wrong, so, GREAT IDEA, let's leave the 8-month-old babies to an INTERDIMENSIONAL DEMON.
In a way, it worked…. Will ended up getting attached to the twins and really seeing them as offspring
So, unlike the general idea of Reverse Falls, the twins actually really respect Will because they really see him as a “mother”, even though he's still seen as a butler. It's complicated, and that comes now from Ford.
Ford was always there, not in an affectionate way, but he was always there at Will's side watching and managing what Will did. He was more active when the twins started talking and walking, following them around and judging them, teaching them words and how to act, and as Ford is an ignorant and arrogant, the twins kind of copied that. But when the twins treated Will the way Ford did, he got angry and threw a serious tantrum (he's a terrible person).
Despite everything, Ford was always admired by the twins, always following him around and trying to please him, like a little competition between brothers to be the favorite son. And Ford only encouraged that rivalry, embittered by his relationship with Stanley.
Speaking of Stanley, let's find out more about him!
Stanley is much more of an “uncle-father” than a “father” per se, since he wasn't there when they were babies. He's like the fun responsible one but still a lot a father figure. When Mason and Mabel entered pre-adolescence Ford and Will left them to deal with the portal and plans, and Stanley decided to pull them into the Tent to help with the work and well, they have a lot of fun doing it, so it's closer to the twins.
But the Twins already had their personalities formed, Mabel being a mini Ford, arrogant, greedy and self-centered, but still able to be sweet and enjoy fun things like sequins and sewing.
Mason, on the other hand, had more of Will's personality, being stubborn, not liking the public very much and being more sentimental. He regulates the risky situations that Mabel gets herself into. But he's still a curious and fair-minded boy, who just wants to be something bigger.
Together with Stanley's apprenticeship, they've become quite manipulative and con artists, although they've also learned more about being friendly and sociable. In other words, I've taken great care in this family relationship of the Gleefuls so that it fits in with what they've seen and learned/taught, I hope you like it!
Reverse stanley looks so fineee 💕💕
YESS I LOVE MY KING!! A cool curiosity, both Stanley and Stanford from Reverse have references to kings' clothes! Stanford being the iconic cape of kings and Stanley a crown and royal suit ;)
