Dear Anonymous,
“Personal differences from canon” you ask for? Hmm.. I’d say that the very first point would be that Guizhong and Retuo were both together with me pre-Archon war. They were not dating each other, but they loved me, and we were in a very loving and understanding relationship. It was incredibly comforting.
Secondly, my statue around Liyue had horns. I also had a tail, which curled around the seat I sat on and trailed slightly down the edge. Ajax found it amusing, and asked to see it quite often. I also had claws, although the details on the statue had become dulled overtime, due to the centuries of weather slowly breaking it down.
In my human form I had crows feet from laughing and smiling quite often, as I was a lot more expressive than the fandom seem to believe. Whenever I let my guard down and relaxed, you could see golden shimmer across my cheekbones, as the scales shine through. My arms were pitch black up right above my shoulders, and my hands glowing gold. I had cracks all over my arms; some were natural lines, and the rest were scars that had melted gold within them. I bled liquid gold, and I only cried pieces of cor lapis. I could not cry liquid tears.
I was slightly tanned than canon as well. I was built heavily, mostly focused on upper body, but not enough so it was visible under the suit. The gnosis only amplified my powers slightly. I could still hurl ginormous pillars from the sky, but decided not to in order to hide my true identity. I could easily take down another god once more, if needed.
Best regards, Zhongli. ( #morax🔶🐉 )
