RULER: MASTER OF THE MASK

okay soooo i started this drama because i’m a hoe for kim so hyun i love her sooososoo much, and when i saw the teasers with yoo seung ho i was like yeas bithc it looked so interesting and the mask didn’t look ugly lol (no shade to the fourth prince) anyways even though i was aware of the drama, i only started watching it after probably episode 14?? so once i catched up, i just had to wait every fucking week for updates that was so hard omg..

i really like chun soo’s character: he was the average good guy and he basically had no flaw except that the pyungsoo group rlly rlly hated him and he’s tooooo protective of ga eun like legit he would do anything for her!!! also he kept dogding hwa gun like holy shit at least kiss her once to satisfy her damn 

for ga eun: idkkk i liked her at first bc she was so brave with the entire thing of her dad being killed and stuff and she’s so nice to lee sun and smart but as the show progressed and chun soo had to ””””disappear””” idkk her character sorta fell flat??? especially when she decided to be a lady in the palace, she wasn’t able to contribute much :/// but in the end, i guesss she saved the day.. i fucking screamed at the screen when she decided to take the poppy pills in front of everyone lol alsooo for most of the show (and sorta now) i wanted her to reciprocate lee sun’s feelings!!! they were cute together and she means soooo much to him :((( 

for lee sun: my precious boy :( i feel so much pity for him ahhhh he was poisoned and acted as a puppet but he couldn’t do anything about it really,, even though he lowkey went crazy, it was i guess justified because there was so much immense pressure on him!!! and the scene with him and his sister was so heartbreaking he would do anything for his family and what hurt me the most is that ga eun kept being oblivious to his feelings!!! seeing him cry made me so sad and he fucking DIES for ga eun I JFLKSDJFKJDSF i swear to god i knew it but i just didn’t want to believe it ohmygod iarjrjkjfj i’m going to miss him 

for hwa gun: if i’m being honest, i didn’t like her character at first lol i was salty in the beginning i was all up for ga eun x chun soo ha she kept butting into everything hoWEVER i sorta turned a new leaf and i like her now lol she was so badass and honestly idk why chun soo didn’t like her?? i mean, she’s pretty, smart, and cool. and it takes a lot of gut to go against dae mok when she burned the poppy fields i fucking YELLED WHAT A QUEEEENNNN the best scene in the show hands down bruh AND THEN SHE DFUCKING DIED i hate dae mok 

damn okayyy i really liked the bodyguards in this show lollll the actor for chun soo’s bodyguard was in age of youth and i was like hot damn and now he has the eyepatch looool also hwa gun’s bodyguard guy ahhhhh he really loved her, that was so cute and so heartbreaking when he found out that she died :((( and hwa gun’s dad made me proud :’)) he came through in the end and i feel bad that he had to put up with dae mok his entire life ahhhh 

overall, the show was never really boring, i liked how the episodes for this drama were about half an hour so i could keep my attention span. i would rewatch it tbh because i know that in a couple of months i would forget what happens,,, the fight scenes were impressive and there were really deep shit in there,, okay i think that’s it lol the rating for this show iiii wouild give it a 9/10 loooollll  bye
