THEIR CHEMISTRY WAS CRAZY !!!!! the casual affection, their little obsession w each other (ki tae keeping wan’s camera, wan getting into art to cope w not having ki tae in his life so basically always drawing him, ki taes little jealousy thing with wan’s fan interaction, also ki tae following him for years under an anonymous blog). they just felt so cute and real and ☹️☹️☹️ i miss them. the whole thing with ki tae just wanting him to STAY. and wan finally not running anymore. finally accepting he can have ki tae and they can be together….ive rewatched this show three times. my only critique iz i genuinely wish it waz longer. it feels so short and i just miss them so fucking bad id do anything for a s2. just to see their little routines and the art wan keeps around the apartment and the little smile ki tae gets when he realizes how much wan loves him. like he always looks so shocked when wan kisses him or initiates affection even though theyve BEENNNN DATING. so sweet

it took me a second to realize theyre both freaky as hell. theyre such fucking freaks but like i was unable to stop thinking about them when i finished. their possessiveness and jealousy honestly to god carried so hard through the show i cant even lie. i was a changed person at the end of it. mizuki iz also one of the hottest men alive i cant even lie and yoh is gorgeous like literally flawless. their dynamic is so. So unique like i didnt get them till suddenly i did. made me want to read the manga to get more details. also miscommunication final boss but they make it work SOMEHOW. also i did laugh so bad when yoh was fr sick and instead of getting a bath he wanted to get dicked down first I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE

SO CUTE. enemies to lovers but developed it in a really like. realistic way. jaeyoung managed to get the most emotionless man. ALSO JAEYOUNG IZ LIKE OUGH. he was obsessed with sangwoo BADDDD BADDD BADDDD. also his lil jealousy thing… Yeah i love him i love them. really love how sangwoo changed in such a casual but natural way like he opened up a little more and finally followed what his heart wanted. also their second kiss scene should be framed in a museum. the ending credits were so fucking cute too i love casual affection bad. my only critique is that it kinda took a second to get hooked unlike the other two but once you get invested you stay invested !!!! also the side characters are sooo lovable like nearly the same amount as the main ones

Dragon Ball thoughtz 2: 21st Tenkaichi Budokai

this arc is where db got popular and i can see why. the fights get more creative and the humor gets a little less reliant on cringey sex jokes (though unfortunately they're still around, since roshi is in focus for this arc)

you can sometimes see toriyama's admitted penchant for writing by the seat of his pants, esp in the goku v giran fight. chapter ends with goku helpessly tied up by the gum attack, next chapter has his tail inexplicably growing back, making him strong enough to break free

its weird seeing some of the stuff characters can do. like already characters can move at the speed of light and blow up the moon, and the power levels are just gonna get higher and higher as the series goes on. the dragon ball setting sounds terrifying to live in honestly

ps: did you know that krillin's first fight in the series was against a smash bros fan?

Dragon Ball review 1: Emperor Pilaf

so I'm reading thru the dragon ball manga and decided to do short n sweet write-ups on every arc

toriyama's best strength so far is his art. his human characters are very charming and expressive (tho sometimes sameface-y) and his monster designs are an absolute pleasure.

as for the writing, eh. DB starts off as a gag manga with a lot of sex jokes. when its about goku being naive, its okay enough, but theres a lot of jokes about bulma getting perved on by older men and its just 🔪

that being said, the DnD player in me found this joke funnier than it actually is

the most striking to me is how utterly dysfunctional the heroes are. everyone but goku p. much hate each other with bulma basically drugging oolong to work with them. at the end of the arc they all suddenly like each other and it feels a tad unearned but eh, toriyama's only expertise at the time was gag comics so i'll let him slide on this one

in short: no wonder this arc didn't make DB popular

beauty and the beast

was surprisingly good?? i liked all the actors omg - like ewan mcgregor (although his french accent was a bit iffy at times it was pretty solid), ian mckellan was such a good fit and JOSH GAD i love him so much?? lol i am a Big BOM fan so this was hilarious to me. ANYWAY all the actors were great fits and played their roles well. the songs made for the film were good (they fit and weren’t too obviously not from the original), and the cinematography and everything else was fine. i liked the little subtleties about france (eg gaston, The War) and in the way the inanimate objects moved? like cogsworth had a certain gait because his legs were far apart, and stuff like that was Cool (also i didnt realise stanley tucci was in it until he came up in the credits ?? so the makeup was good) my only problems were pretty minor. the cgi was a bit dodgy, like i could tell when something was cgi/greenscreen and it brought me out a bit. little things niggled me, like to me emma watsons singing voice seemed off? like it was fine, good, it just seemed weird and Not Right in a way? and there were a few times i was like, when/why did that happen?? but i didnt have a problem with anything major. so overall i really enjoyed it! i might be wearing rose-tinted glasses (i grew up with all the original disney animated films pretty much on repeat) but i thought it was solid. i’d give it a 7.5/10 ??

ughh the spiderman homecoming trailer literally gives Everything away about the plot and it has that stock action film music like BWAAAMMMM and the cgi looks bad?? honestly in that one scene with the boat they should have just left what happens up to the imagination and make the audience go see the film to find out BUT NO they spoil itt and from what i can tell the side characters are predictable and ugh
