hey guys this is my first time logging onto tumblr in ages and i discovered my side blog that was my main blog got deleted lol. anyway i came on here to scream somewhere about how last night my bf was showing my photos on his phone and accidentally showed one of the mock up of an engagement ring. anyway!

ft. the cover of my seoul travel journal from my new year's trip - so happy with how it turned out (i made a separate post about it, but changed my mind afterwards lol). kind of considering making more journaling-themes posts in the future! also, i discovered this vegan bakery in my neighborhood and that gingerbread cake was so good!!

finished notes on factors affecting reactivity

did a few practice questions in the book and online

finished those god-awful practice assignments that covered things we didn't cover in the book

a single question takes so long to figure out and i can't believe i already forgot how to name organic molecules (covered just last semester! 😭). in total i studied for 5 hours. i cannot wait to finish this organic chemistry module. 5 hours doesn't sound like much to me, but i feel so drained and not in a satisfying way.

I was kind of dreading today because it was finally time to take a practice exam, even though I wasn't as far in my review of the material as I had hoped. it went really well, though! I did better than I thought I would and I wrote down a few areas that I need to focus on. I also got to practice the simulation-style questions for the first time, which makes me less nervous about the actual exam.

the blessing/curse of having an open-note and open-book exam is that there is a ton of material that I need to be able to find quickly. this practice exam was also a test of my index and note-taking system, and I think it worked pretty well! I still have lots to study, but I'm not as afraid that I'm going to completely fail the exam in a month haha
