Now cause I’m basically sitting in the middle of mock week, I’m gonna have a little ramble of @sketchygabz and @nessietessimal pirate/treasure planet au. You know, as a treat
I’m also gonna come completely clean with you lot. I’ve never seen treasure planet in my life. Soooo-pirate time-
- The army squad are a former navy crew turned pirates after what I can only describe as a terrible accident-(aka, the navy shot at them and they went COWABUNGA IT IS-) so they’re pirates with a fearsome reputation now
- basically they went captain nemo from 20 thousand leagues under the sea who am I kidding-
- Before they went COWABUNGA IT IS, their ship was known as one of the most intimidating ones out of the fleet. A basically grey, armour plated ship with the black icon of a snarling bear on its side.
- Basically, you didn’t screw with them if you had a choice in the matter
- However, Jakob and Diana were a lenient first mate and captain (yes Diana is the captain). They ran the ship fairly and made sure everyone was okay
- This didn’t change when they switched into being pirates, all of the crew agreed with them and also agreed to switch to becoming pirates (which gave them more freedom)
- Originally the plan was to go after more tougher-ruthless pirates. And the navy ship which attempted to take them out the water
- That changed when they heard that their kids (Kaen, Zak and their daughter Zophia) were apparently caught in another terrible accident and had gone missing
- That was the last straw
- Basically, the crew of the Ursa have now spent the better part of their time destroying navy vessels in revenge of their lost kids. While also trying their damnest to find the rest of them.
- You know, parent things-
- Diana, the captain of the Ursa. A fair and calm lady, unless you’ve angered her. Also a crack shot with basically any fire arm.
- Jakob, quarter master. He is still romantically involved with Diana and is a big man with a lot of muscle. Basically, if you’re gonna get to the captain-gotta get through him first
- Nikolai, the crew’s carpenter and blacksmith. He’s the one in charge of making stuff and maintaining the ship. He’s a bit stern, but he’ll quickly warm up
- Elias, the crew’s surgeon. He’s patching everyone up before shoving them back out there to get stuff done. Has his own personal brand of rum that no one is too sure what’s in it. Except his twin sister Eevi.
- Eevi, the crew’s master gunner and relentless ball of energy. She’s all up for a bit of jokes and gambling on board, as long as no one gets butt sore about it. She stops Elias from drinking the entire rum supply.
- Antoni, group’s boatswain. Cocky, brave and willing to do the impossible to get stuff done. Lost his right hand in the terrible accident, but he got a replacement
