2026 RESOLUTIONS

I love resolutions, I love intention setting, I love both specific goals and general vibes. Here are mine for 2026:

Lower my phone screentime. C’mon girl. Related: read my book immediately upon waking up instead of having phone time. Aim for 24 books this year. Analog hobby rather than phone game while listening to podcasts.

Robustly try new recipes and add the good ones to my recipe box. Start making half recipes so I don’t get bored. Dip one toe into baking.

Experiment with original fiction. Read more seriously about writing as craft. Attempt one major creative project that pushes me technically.

Ascend to runner speeds. 6.5mph base by end of the year. Heavier free weights as much as possible.

Try one new hobby or make one new friend per month.

Eventual living alone plan: start looking at new jobs.

Wear more outfits/be more intentional and curational about my clothes.

Be more attuned to my own impulses and wants.

I have lots of thoughts on these but I will leave it here for now :) Happy new year to all!

I just finished a D&D campaign that started 5 years ago. I am so wildly emotional about the arc my wizard went through as he matured from a self centered teenager into such a good and kind man.
