Aren’t we all hungry, no, ravenous for love and for the acts of it?
But the animus I am yearning for tonight is the spaces in between the comfort of being unmarred and beautiful in your subconscious, that I am not all these fragments that you left in beautiful suspension.
Sleep with me. You can hold me in rude exchanges of breaths and of dreams. Slowly enfold my body in the warmth of your arms, rest your face in the crook of my neck and whisper faintly that I will live in the brilliant colors of these undefined moments in the dark.
When the morning comes, I will be ravenous for love again but I've learned to dismissed such feeling . Tonight, I’m yearning for just the spaces in between. Sleep with me even in this long continuum of dreams.
