Lets get ready to Rumble!!!

8/2/2018.  I cleaned the display cabinet inherited from my grandparents. The 2 upper shelves are yellowy from the contact paper they had on it, no matter how much I scrubbed. I think it's the adhesive turned acidic. 😬 I was thinking of lining the shelves with foil or black felt. I don't trust that yellowness touching my figures. ... I figured metallic foil would clash with all that wood, so I went with black felt shelf lining. But I ran out of large enough pieces of black felt, so I had to use some yellow-orange felt on the bottom shelf.  I feel like I should also wash the interior walls of the cabinet, but it gave me splinters when I tried with a Clorox Wipe.  Maybe I’ll go back later with a thicker rag sprayed with an alcohol-based cleaning solution.  Gotta avoid that soapy water; that’s just asking for mold.  In the meantime, I’m not letting my figures touch the walls.  It smells like an old library’s aging book glue inside.  I hope those fumes don’t effect my figures. 

I really like character shrines, but I also don’t like to mix my chibi figures with scale figures.  So maybe I’ll just put figures together by category: Kamen Rider, Rumiko Takahashi, Revoltech, Play Arts, by series, etc.  But I actually may not have room inside for any character shrines.  I used up the space much faster than I thought.  o_o

Top shelf’s right side will be reserved for Persona 5, when the rest of the Phantom Thief Figmas are released.  

I’ll have to make some display risers later.  But something more stable than my usual popsicle stick risers.  Maybe I’ll try that foam core board method.

I like to imagine during the early days of foxhound (Venom Snake)Big Boss and Snake went on some interesting missions and Snake would wonder how Boss lost his arm and got his horn, and Boss would enjoy quality time with his son, who’s not really his son but don’t tell him that.

The only metal gear revol mini I have. I would kill for the Cyborg Ninja and the Solid Snake, but Venom is still a good figure. If anyone knows where I can find the other two without the $80+ price tag? Please god help.
