4.3.2026. Returned box for Play Arts Kai Kingdom Hearts 2 Riku to figure nook, since it's a little too thick to collapse.

2.18.2026. Unboxed PopUpParade Towa Higurashi for a photoshoot, so now had to move things around to give her a display space.

Moved out boxes for Play Arts Kai Riku (Kingdom Hearts II) and EXO Figure Lelouch (school uniform with Zero's cape).

Moved in boxes for Nendoroid Doll Megurine Luka and Nendoroid Waddle Dee, to above Towa.

Also moved dmcl stickers stack to side, to avoid covering PopUpParade dmcl.

12.13.2025. Anya dell down, so i switched the Nendoroid More bases that I was using for her and Loid, with Anya's Nendoroid base. It's bigger, so more stable.

11.11.2025. I decided to move all my videogames to my old anime DVDs/bluray bookcase, and move a some of my favorite anime disks to where my videogames used to be.

Lately, I've been picking out my favorite anime disks from my anime bookcase, and putting them into temporary spots on my more accessible bookcase. For a long time now, my anime bookcase has been blocked off by a growing pile of mail packages from figures that I still need to unbox. It makes it really difficult to watch from my anime collection. Which I thought was fine, because I can watch Crunchyroll. But with my wifi occasionally going down more often, the industry news reporting Crunchyroll dropping more series (like my beloved Claymore), and with my new Arcane blurays coming in and reminding me that I don't have to depend on streaming, i thought it was time to make my favorite anime disks more accessible in a less temporary way.

I've also come to accept in recent years that I no long really play videogames. it used to be a big part of my life, that I still love. But I am now a videogame fan, the way most people are sports fans: They watch other people lay it professionally on TV, and just keep up on industry news. And I think I'm fine with that now. So there's no reason for my videogame collection to stay in some of my most accessible shelves, when I don't really need to access them. Better to give that shelf space to my anime disks.

A lot of my favorite anime series in my collection are from the "demon hunting" genre. But since I was mixing up my anime with my manga, I realized that if I separate Devil May Cry and Darkstalkers from the "demon hunting" genre, I could combine it with the Street Fighter II The Movie and a bunch of my Capcom manga, to create a whole section for just Capcom. So I did that. But I moved my Sakura Kasugano manga to my less accessible shelves, because they're mostly gag manga that I don't really read often. My Devil May Cry manga, on the other hand, I do need to finish reading. My Vampire Savior manga has a lovely Shoujo genre art style that I love re-reading. The Justice Gakuen/Rival Schools manga, I love keeping visible. And the Sengoku Basara manga are all cat versions and chibi that I love, so I'd like to keep that accessible. It's not really in alphabetical order though, because I didn't want to position Street Fighter II The Movie to the farthest right. I love re-watching that movie, but the farthest right of that shelf is a little less accessible, since my TV cables partially cover that section.

10.28.2025. Considering moving my Claymore DVDs to be beside the Claymore manga.

Recently, I've been selecting some DVDs/blurays to lie horizontally atop my manga, for easy access. My bookcase of anime DVDs/blurays has been blocked by my stack of mailing boxes/figures-to-unbox for years, so it's not easy to watch my anime collection. But with my wifi going out more frequently lately, it's nice to pull out some DVDs to temporarily sit in my most accessible bookcase, along with some of my favorite manga. …Actually, now that I think about it, maybe the reason I started selecting DVDs/blurays to temporarily sit atop my most accessible manga, is because I recently bought Arcane on bluray, and watching it has reminded me to watch my physical media more often.

So now, I'm thinking of moving my Claymore DVDs to be beside my Claymore manga. I'd have to move "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All", because it would really clash with a shelf of all-Claymore.

And maybe I could move my Natsume Yuujinchou DVDs to be beside my Natsume Yuujinchou manga. The problem being that the Natsume Yuujinchou box sets are very long, unusually big boxes. That may not fit, when I've got another row of manga behind my Natsume Yuujinchou manga. But maybe I could move those…?

I think it's time that I accept that I don't really play videogames anymore. (Besides Woodoku.) I am now a fan of videogames, in the way most people are fans of sports: I watch professionals play it on a screen, and keep up with industry news, but don't actually play the sport myself. That's it. I accepted a couple years ago that I no longer really play videogames, so I stopped buying games. But now it's time I move my videogame collection out of my most accessible bookcase, and give that prime location to a collection that I'm actually going to read/watch/access more often. Maybe I should move my videogames to where my Natsume Yuujinchou and Kimi ni Todoke DVD box sets currently are…?

10.22.2025. Arcane season 2 bluray set just came in yesterday. Setting them atop Claymore, temporarily.

The middle disk holder is faulty on both sides. Both disks 1 and 2 were dislodged when I first opened the case. I was afraid of scratches, but the disks seem to play fine.

But I don't trust those middle disk holders now.

Honestly, I never liked double sided disk holders. I always felt afraid of the underside of one peg scratching the disk on the other side, if I pressed the disk too hard down or something.

So I dug out my old CD jewel cases and put 2 of the Arcane blurays in them instead. Feels safer.

But my box of jewel cases was under my tower of mailing boxes and figures that still need unboxing. So now I'm having a reckoning with that mess. Took the opportunity to also dig out my old CD collections.

10.20.2025. Cleaned some boxes, moved dragon figures into a box, made room for mini softbox lights.

Horizontal manga, blurays, and DVDs are in temporary positions for easy access.

I like this picture of my Rumiko Takahashi figures, with my Rumiko Takahashi manga visible in the background. When I stack the rest of my display cases, my manga and Maison Ikkoku figures will be out of view. But in between reorganizing my figures and finally putting all my higher-end Takahashi figures into one case, I'll enjoy how full of Takahashi this photo is.

10.14.2025. Returned my Nendoroid Kirbys and Waddle Dee to their display case. Think I'll keep their Halloween look for the rest of the season.

9.19.2025. Moved some of my favorite anime dvds/blurays to more accessible, temporary locations, until I clean up that pile of figures to unbox.

1.27.2025. New pose for Nendoroid Yusuke.

I usually don't display Fox with his sword, to make him more ready for photoshoots, since i usually pose him framing compositions with his hands in most photos. But last photoshoot, i actually posed him with his sword. So he's keeping it, gor now.

12/7/2024. Moved Spheal plushie, and finally returned Nendoroids used at previous outing, to display cases.

Finally washed Nendoroids natsutsubaki Miku and Leonardo, after their outings to LA Tanabata and a museum trip. Now they can finally return to their display cases.

Moved Spheal plushie out of its own Daiso display case, because it was a little small for Spheal. Moved Ninja Turtle and Mega Man Nendoroids into that Daiso display case, with plenty of room for when I finally unbox Michelangelo and Raphael. It will now be my "nostalgia display case". Spheal now occupies gift box which used to hold too much space for Donatello and Mega Man. Now Spheal shares it with only my substitute custom Nendoroid Claude and Dimitri.

Also decided to take photos of most of my room, for my personal records.

11/17/2024. Hung a new curtain and filled it with charms. Also moved some Nendoroids around.

Think I finally fit 2Star Mako's hat better within this case. But still taping case closed, so it can still stay a little loose, to give her hat more room. But at least her hat isn't posed weirdly on her head.

Removed rolled-up/unused curtain from length of bedside wire rack shelving. Put 2 dowels into curtain. Hung curtain at floating shelf hanging above closet. Moved several charms from previous smaller curtains (which are too cramped and/or dangerously above a space where pins could get lost if accidentally fall) onto newly unrolled curtain. Hung charm plushies and some other trinkets onto closet's new curtain. Moved mini kazari to far right of floating shelves above closet.

Re-tied strap on Alphonse plushie onto backrest of ergonomic chair; focus on X over Al's face vs X on back of backrest.
