short biography:  Elizabeth was born to a wealthy Dutch family in America in August of 1757. She lived a comfortable life, growing up amongst the heroes that would go on to be hailed during the revolution, and married the aide de camp to Washington, Alexander H.amilton, in 1780. After having lost her husband to battle, and heeding the advice of a friend to escape her sorrows, Elizabeth left America for France alongside Lafayette in 1781, staying with the Marquis and his wife, giving birth to her and her late husband’s son the same day the Marquis was received at Versailles (Jan. 22).

short biography: raised ( and perhaps not born, though they neither know nor care ) in france, they’ve had some time to see the tension grow, both in their more secluded community and outside of it. they couldn’t totally see a place for themselves in either side of people - as a de facto law enforcer, they’re not sure whether it’s concurrent with their duties to side with a revolutionary force. ( not to mention the latent antisemitism that existed in france at the time; it’s easy to be suspicious that anything in that area would actually improve. )

short biography: Having been orphaned at the tender age of one year, life wasn’t quiet easy in his early years; inheriting his wayward father’s debts, mistreated by his uncle after his initial guardians passed away. Even though being not as particularly gifted as his older brother, he made his way to the Collège Louis-le-Grand in Paris, becoming a moderately successful lawyer in this process. Now, his brother has become a rising star among his fellow deputies, advocating for the rights of the third estate; and so Augustin follows suit. (totally 3-5 lines)

short biography:  in his youth, he fled from england to france, and came under the tutelage of a cardinal. with a knack for finances and language, he was able to become a lawyer. he handled matters for the cardinal (until his death) and other englishmen who had business deals with france. he recently lost wife and two daughters due to illness, and has only one son, gregory, remaining.
