Blatant anti-competitive behaviour by megacorporations.
Illegal selling of personally identifiable information.
The actual benefit to consumers are rounding errors. The benefits to megacorporations is ridiculous, while the costs to consumers are equally so.
Companies will have to compete - on their own merits.
People will have to discover that they can go to a store they don't inherently despise.
