She never did. Neither did he
Elementary gave Sherlock more character development in 2.5 episodes than other versions did in years
Elementary 1x03 is still one of the best episodes of the show. it gives us many core pieces of the show for the first time. Sherlock waking Watson with a sudden and loud noise. meeting Angus for the first time. Watson teaching Sherlock something. Sherlock admitting that Joan helped him and appreciating her help. several lines that have been giffed countless times. a rare moment of someone outsmarting Holmes.
For a brief stretch in London, I talked only to a phrenology bust I kept in my study. I named him Angus.

Because they are, indeed, awesome
I'm re-watching season 1 in no particular order, and this little bit of dialogue got stuck in my head: S: "Listen, I wanted to thank you for all of your help." J: "I'm always happy to listen." S: "No, no, no. Actually, Watson, I was the one who listened last night, and I heard someone who was willing to accommodate the difficult process of a difficult person for the greater good. It's a rare quality in my experience and.. I may even listen to you again in the future." This is episode #3, so they've known each other only for a couple of weeks, and yet the acerbic and sometimes cruel man recognized the awesomeness of his companion, listened to her and openly admitted he would do it again. Excuse me while I go grab my spot at the bar and reminisce about the good times...
language-escapes replied to your post: Sherlock said he was “quite young” when he was...
Did he say in Child Predator or another episode that he was sent to boarding school when he was 8? That age is stuck in my head for some reason. Maybe it was in a fic, I dunno.
yes, I just checked, and he did say he was 8 in that first conversation with Adam, thank you.
