He IS more aware of Winter's abusive nature after all

Summer’s… suspicious

And extremely angry at Winter. He knows that Solars scared of him, and he can easily connect the dots because he may be actively dying, but he’s not blind

Also I don’t know if I, the Mod, needs to clarify this but I will never make someone do something out of character, or dumb them down, or whatever to push the plot forward

Solar’s Sun and Moon

The beginning of Solar’s story obviously starts with his Sun and Moon, or as I’ve nicknamed them, Summer and Winter.

Their relationship is a bit different than the Sun and Moon you guys all know about, and that’s because Winter is actually willing to admit his flaws and apologize for what he’s done to Summer.

Just kidding! Winters also a horrible person!!

The actual reason is that Summer actually had closer connections to the others in the Pizzaplex, and was able to recognize Winters abuse and doesn’t put up with it anymore.

Either way, after their separation, Winter still left his KillCode in Summer, and the Eclipse born from it, which we all know and love as Solar, was on the collision course to end up just like the Eclipse we know and barely tolerate.

But that was until he accidentally pulled Summer into his mindscape with him…

Solar’s Body

After a week or so, thanks to it being worked on overtime and being built from spare parts lying around, it was done.

Solar had his own body now, perfectly built, and waiting for him. But the hard part was transferring him from Summer’s body to his own. Solar was very worried about all that could go wrong with the transfer, but Summer reassured him that it’d all be okay.

On the day marked for the Transfer, the Daycare was closed down just in case it all went wrong. Their two bodies were hooked up and ready to go, with Winter on standby just in case.

And everything turns out alright. Solar’s in his own body. Summer’s still perfectly fine and beaming at him. Everything’s alright.

Everything will stay alright.

Season’s End

(Be warned, this will be a long post)

The next week was… eventful.

Winter came in to see his “brother”, and they ended up arguing. Summer lashed out at him for accusing Solar of being the cause of all of this, and it just escalated from there.

Solar wished that he didn’t overhear that argument…

Since He spent all his time with Summer, and trying to delay to inevitable, Winter got forced back into working at the Daycare, which just made him so much angrier.

They avoided him out of fear.

As the days passed by Summer’s condition got worse. He couldn’t walk anymore, bits and pieces of his memory were fading, he could barely move without unbearable pain…

All his time in between running diagnostics and trying to slow Summer’s death was spent talking to him.

Sometimes it would be about the most mundane stuff, or how his day was going, or about the daycare children. Other times they’d talk about the future, and forget for a moment about the sad reality of their situation.

And sometimes Summer would forget who Solar was, just for a moment, and after the first time Solar started making a scrapbook, something Summer taught him to do, for those moments where Summer would forget.

Summer’s condition still worsened no matter how much he tried to stop it, or delay it, or something. Soon he was coughing up oil more often than not, his hands were always shaking. Summer would always complain about the horrible headaches, and he spent most of his time sleeping.

One day, Solar came back and the Parts N Service was oddly quiet.

It hadn’t been quiet in weeks…

Summer was collapsed halfway on the floor, barely breathing. Do animatronics even need to breathe? He immediately went to his friend, carefully cradling his half alive body against him, and He sobbed into Summer.

He begged.

He begged for Summer to be joking.

He begged for Summer to be alright.

He begged for Summer to not abandon him.

He begged for Summer to not leave him alone.

He begged so much, until He couldn’t beg anymore.

Winter found Solar the next morning clutching Summer’s cold, lifeless body.

Meeting Winter

One day while Solar was in control of Summer’s body and doing small repairs on various toys Daycare kids broke, since he found out that he really enjoys tinkering with stuff, Winter corners him in a back room.

Winter had been suspicious for a few months now. Sometimes Summer would act odd, and disappear for hours at a time only to come back and act like nothing happened.

When Winter corners Solar, he demands what’s going on, and who he really even is talking to. When Solar stays silent out of fear, Winter threatens to ah… rip out his rays.

Wow I really do make all Moons assholes.

Due to complete fear, because of Winter himself and his threat, Solar retreats back to the mindscape and Summer’s forced back into the drivers seat.

Summer immediately tries to brush off what happened, but Winter doesn’t accept that answer this time.

After some persuasion, and a lot of more threats, Summer explains the existence of Solar, that something Winter left in him became sentient. Winter is almost immediately suspicious of Solar’s intent, and what he plans to do with Summer since he was made from his KillCode.

Summer tries to reassure Winter that it’s all right, and quickly leaves before Winter has the chance to escalate it any further.

Getting a Body

After the whole fiasco with Winter, Solar was terrified to attempt to do stuff in Summer’s body. He may not have been in control, but he heard the threats made to his… friend.

Eventually Solar and Summer would go back to the routine of sharing a body, but whenever Winter would be nearby he’d get forced back into control.

One day Winter approached Summer with an idea. A body for Solar. Summer was suspicious of his real intentions, but was happy that he wasn’t being as hostile towards Solar anymore.

I mean in reality it’s most likely so that Winter can keep a better eye on Solar and if he does turn out evil he can kill him easier but let’s ignore that for a bit…

When Summer explains the idea to Solar, he’s a bit hesitant. While a body to himself would be great and give him more time to work on things he’d like to do, he’s afraid of all that could go wrong.

But with some more pushing, Solar agrees. Construction for his own body is now on the way.

Winter’s Wrath

Winter found out the next day when he saw Summer motionless in Parts N Services and Solar asleep with his head on their lap.

He blamed Solar for this. If it wasn’t for him existing. If it wasn’t for him getting his own body. If it wasn’t for him taking advantage of Summers generosity… none of this would’ve happened.

When Solar woke up that day Winter was grabbing onto one of his arms, tugging on it strong enough to nearly tear it off, his claws leaving dents in the metal.

As soon as Summers out of earshot, he blows up at Solar. Yelling at him that this is all his fault, that he’s killing Summer, that it should be him dying and not Summer, and so on.

…

Solar returns to where Summer’s resting at with several chunks taken out of his rays and a fresh cut on his face.

He doesn’t answer when Summer asks what happened and how he got injured.
