The more he thought about it, the more he realized -- the little seeds of personality he’d seen in them as little kids had grown into saplings, still pliable, but tall and strong, too green to be broken. He hoped that would last a little longer, the few shreds of innocence he’d left them keeping their smiles on their faces for just a few seconds more.
There would be few smiles after tonight. He didn’t have to think too much to know that.

This chapter has been a long time coming, and Sriram and I are so excited to present it to you today! We hope you’re enjoying the trip as much as we are, and stick with us until the end. This is the last book, after all!

Matt was obviously a shoe-in for Hufflepuff. He might not be the brightest or the bravest, but the kid’s got a heart of gold and will do anything to make sure the people he loves are alright. He’s a ravenclaw secondary, but he doesn’t have the drive for knowledge necessary to put him with the raven’s, unfortunately.
Drew was always a Gryffindor, though he could have done well in Hufflepuff, too. He’s loyal and hard-working, but tends more towards big displays of bravery when it comes down to it. The kid doesn’t know when to quit.
As for Anne? Well, it’s probably the horcrux.
But seriously, Anne isn’t normally cunning or ambitious so much as pig-headed and determined. But when a decent chunk of your soul is being influenced by Voldemort, even the Sorting Hat can get confused.
half of me doesnt want spoilers but the other half is desperate to know whats gonna happen to anne and if shell stay in slytherin or something else will happen (i just want her to be ok)
we all want her to be okay, but if theres one thing writing rewrite has proved, its that things get worse before they get better

I’m so glad you enjoyed the series. At this point in time there’s no plans to post the final three chapters. As a trans person, i have a lot of mixed feelings regarding the HP fandom.
Maybe one day we’ll finish those last few scenes (and the bit where Draco becomes a werewolf lol) but until then I hope what we did write made you happy :)
