Dys & Rex’s friendship isn’t shown much in the game (unless it’s more featured in a path I haven’t gone down yet), but it could be so powerful.

I think being close with Rex would heal a part of Dys. Dys really values honesty, but he has been deeply hurt by blunt communication before, think Tangent and Marz. Rex exemplifies how communication can be both blunt and caring.

Rex mentions Dys as someone he wants to be friends with in one of Sol’s first conversations with him. He is immediately attuned to Dys’s value, something that has been overlooked or disregarded by so many. I see Rex as Dys’s hype man. He’s able to identify and articulate what makes Dys so special, and Dys is probably super uncomfortable with that kind of attention but also loves it. Slowly, I think Dys would start to value himself more because of the intentional & thorough way that Rex expresses his love for him.

Rex & Dys both are so awe-oriented. They honor the little things & walk through the world with wonder. While Rex shows his affection through words, I think Dys would show his affection through actions. I see him taking Rex on camping trips or bringing back things from excursions that he would be interested in. I don’t think he’d necessarily heal Rex in the way that Rex could heal him, but he would make Rex’s life more extraordinary.

i cannot play iwatex seriously past age 17 apparently cause the second the characters gain their adult skins i become dick blind

why did i max out my red stats after being locked in on yellow just cause vace looked at me the right way. i don’t even like vace. ive realised that now, and ive moved swiftly forward to trying to get into rex’s pants and have in the process started a rebellion so we’ll see how that goes
