why Rex?

1. I find it appealing, personally

2. Regulus is a diminutive of Rex, so it makes sense to use it as a nickname

3. Reggie squicks me because I think Regulus would find it soft and childish. Rex is a strong name, it's an upgrade. Imo, Regulus wants to feel powerful and important; to be the king, not the little prince.

4. It makes it very easy to make Oedipus Rex jokes 😁
