Rex and Haru are the heads of the "queensguard", a special band of vampires and vampire hybrids who are under direct command of Park Yoobin known as the Steel Wolves. Usually members of this group are exceptionally talented and more supernatural in ability.
Haru is a tri-brid, part vampire, wolf, and witch. She has a special connection to dark magic and is one of the "death gods", known more aptly as Hel. When her own abilities are at full power, one might notice how half of her seems to be one with the living while the other seems to be half with the dead.
Rex is a turned vampire, that due to his experiences and the influence of the vampire venom of the original vampire who sired him, had powers awoken in him. Rex is the fearsome one in the Steel Wolves, and usually is only called in when things cannot be truly handled by Hel. His abilities concern phobias and fears, a single strike by his weapon (a staff) or his nails causes a toxin to creep into the opposing's blood whether alive or dead, which induces extreme fear and panic, making them lose control of their rational thoughts and visualize the things the fear the most. He usually walks around with a mask over his mouth which covers his vampire fangs, but once his opposing is compromised, he has complete control over their mind, appearing as a horrific visage of death and destruction with a halo of barbed wire and wings of barbed wire. Using these abilities, he can create a realm where the only thing a person sees is him, thus a realm of intense fear until their heart gives out.
