A small laugh reverberates from the hollow helmet, and the fire-like substance within seems to flicker.
“ You mean it? ” he asks, trying to stifle more giggling. Despite the cold, steel armour that acts as his body, Revenant’s heart (or at least where a heart would be) feels warm.
Without hesitation, he throws his arms around Isley. Thankfully, Rev doesn’t need to be too careful with his grip.
“ Heheheh! Thank you! I’ll do my best to keep making you proud! ”
Isley may not be the guardian’s true father, but he does see many similarities. Though for one difference - Isley doesn’t laugh like Geist does.

I will say, though, that you’d be better off reading than watching. The anime kinda deviates from the manga at around the time Isley is introduced and butchers his character.
Yeah that makes sense, I will see if I can get a hold of the manga somehow.

Is it true that you can transform into a centaur?” Cyrus said eagerly, his eyes practically shining with excitement; before he felt his cheeks flush a little nervously. “Oh begging your pardon, I do hope that I am not being intrusive with asking you about this.” Very frequently he would find that his inquiring behaviour often got him into trouble.

Therion looked confused as Isley brushed his hair, he hadn’t been expecting it. A part of him was worried about him pushing back his fringe to reveal the scar over his eye. “I don’t mind you brushing my hair, but please leave the hair over my eye….I need that eye covered.” Therion said nervously, he didn’t want the questions about why he had a scar on that eye.
