Headcanon: The new snake on “Something Swarming” vista is an in-canon cryptid. Some dragons do not believe in its existence. Current cryptozoologists’ theory is that a sickly/deformed Highfin Sea Serpent is wandering around that had its details greatly exaggerated. There are those that believe the locals are just drumming up drama to attract intrigue and tourism. There are the few, however, that believe that this is a new endangered species just waiting to be discovered.

May 22 is World Goth Day. A day where the goth scene gets to celebrate its own being, and an opportunity to make its presence known to the rest of the world. So to all my freaks and ghouls out there, enjoy yourselves with your favorite goth acts, and certainly don’t forget about “Residual Self”

Headcanon: Pearlcatchers are considered the best “witnesses” anyone could possibly get due to slathering their pearl with a physical embodiment of their memories. This normally leads to PCs being hired for a hefty price to “witness” important events for other dragons. They dump the memory onto an object or another pearl for that dragon. For example, a witnessed wedding might have the wedding rings be coated, a graduation might have a little bead on the cap, and so on. 

Pearlcatchers who saw a crime allegedly become an excellent resource for evidence. Normally eyewitness accounts aren’t all that reliable for condemning someone, but Pearlcatchers are considered a different story to most clans. The science and reliability of the accuracy of the pearl/dragon’s memories hasn’t been fully studied, but most are insistent that it’s true.

Roach often jumps from clan to clan within the scarred wasteland. Whenever he’s questioned on where he lives, he just refers to the entirety of the wasteland as his home. He often visits new clans that are up and coming, but he doesn’t really do anything other than talk or mess around with them. More often than not he leaves on good terms with the clans after welcoming them to their new home, but sometimes clans don’t appreciate his chaotic tendencies and total disregard for basic safety protocols. He has a particular favoritism towards clans consisting of other mirrors and nocturnes while he usually keeps his distance from ones with a majority population of much larger creatures such as Ridgebacks or Imperials. It’s a mildly terrifying to be completely surrounded by things that can squish you.

New Clan Lore Idea

There isn’t really a “Clan” but more so a single dragon with a “book” detailing the lives of abnormal dragons they’ve followed and documented. It lets me do whatever I want with their lore without having to worry about tying it into my previous dragons and such. It’s simple, flexible, and I think this might be something I can actually stick myself to. 

Not too sure yet.
