.｡.:*☆ "If i’m slipping, i’m totally blaming you." Rey had no idea why she had allowed Derek to take her to the ice skating ring. But then, she did not really have much experience with dating, so she had decided to let him plan the day. Which means, she was hardly in a position now to complain.

"And yes, I know I can blame no one but myself. But seriously - I have never been ice skating before. Not even sure if I will be able to stand in those shoes."

.｡.:*☆ Rey hadn’t really been training anymore since ending up in Ivy Cove, and, even more, since her weird dreams had started. Rey could not tell if it was a memory or a warning, and it was bothering her on most days even when she was awake. But today, for the first day in weeks, she felt content enough to try. Her mind was no blizzard anymore, and it actually seemed to work out.

“Who is there?” She did not see anyone approacing, but felt like there was another presence around next to her own.

.｡.:*☆ Rey was in distress since arriving at this place. Not knowing how that was possible had been shaking her core, and she was now trying to find her balance again. She had to. It would do her good otherwise, after all.

Mediating at the beach, she felt something… a wave of the Force. But that was all. Rey could not tell at this point whom it belonged to. Cracking one eye open, she looked around, curiously. “Hello?” She called into the twilight of the dawn. “Anyone there?”

“While I have learned about this concept of Christmas already - isn’t it a little too late for people to still have this kind of decoration? Like, I thought this is a holiday that is usually celebrated in December.”

.｡.:*☆ "So are you actually going to celebrate this Thanksgiving thing?" Rey had learned about some od the holidays during her time here in DC. She just actually was not sure what to do yet with the knowledge.

"I might just go and work that day, actually. Because this seems to be a family thing and I do not have any family here to do it with."

"Mostly because, I do not like how they throw us around like this. None of us can pick where to go, and when to leave. And that is not okay. We are not their dolls to play with, after all...."
